If you want consistency be consistent in your approach/method/system when somethings goes wrong "ALWAYS" examine what went wrong don't change course when things rough. If you keep acting like a 3 year old and be all fickle you may never find consistency.

I took what it gave me couldn't hold it longer as there was a ceiling Frankfurt high. Not going to beat myself up for it for not reaching the target.

As time goes on and as I perfect my method I might hold them longer but for now safety of the funds comes first than hitting that target. I'll take things step by step.

Since I'm not earning 30pips per day with 0.2lot I might take longer to recover the dd if I'm feeling good I might increase the lot to 0.5 from next week but this week we'll keep on trading 0.2lots.

today was a challenging day.
I had a short going prior London open, PA was a little off from the get go I couldn't draw a proper trend line at first it looked like it was going for a congestion aka range but then it made a new HH nevertheless I went in for a short and as London open came its just acting up went above the trend line I got out then. I still think this is a short on the TF I operate maybe its one of those days where I they will take it higher from frankfurt HH before selling it I don't know but I'm not here to stay for that. So I got out. Not bad still. I almost wanted to halt trading today from the looks of things that were going on pre London open. Maybe I should "listen" to those some days of the week.

4 trades taken in total - DAX system went on a bit of a freeze frenzy yesterday right at Frankfurt open before resuming 20-30mins after London open so I decided to take the day off altogether as I specifically trade the opens.

1 loser (this loser actually was a winner I was just bad on my exit which I've been working the past few days hopefully from next week I can better execute the exits)

I did go up 0.62% this week and I think next week I'll keep the lot size the same until I recover the loss and better execute the exits. I'm nailing down my entries, and I think this week my entries have been close to what I'd like but exits were really sloppy. The first short trade I took on this live which resulted the 1.12% dd from the get go I was blaming the market and the external condition, now looking back yes the gap was huge and volatile to some extent but if I had the entry rule like I have the past week I wouldn't have taken that loss - my timing was way off for that trade no doubt about that.

I don't think the perfection ever ends, I still have to smooth out the rough patches here and there. Entry is almost there, exits I'll work on it next week. And structure well I have narrowed it down to 2 type and then it branches off to few from there on. And on each scenario I'll then have to outline what might occur, and what I'll do - if this ...... if then.... preplanned sequences and preplanned moves. We're getting there to perfecting this method.

first entry was slightly mistimed the second was right on.

I'm ashamed to admit that I accidentally clicked the close button. If I hadn't I probably would have kept this going at least for 30mins.

Nevertheless today's pattern was "very challenging" unlike anything I've ever experienced this could either be a bottom or very well be continuation to downtrend. When I say bottom I mean it on 2m anyhow 15m thus far don't look too good for longs.

I'm glad that I was able to end the day BE considering how challenging the pattern was to deal with and but still easily goes into one way type I've identified maybe a combination of one way and congestion ? and against the trend I don't know all I can say is this was very challenging. And I call it a day here.

this almost look like a short now

that drop was unprecedented or was it ? it's just acting atypical today maybe because of Fridays delay at the open ? probably not maybe knee jerk reaction to tariff news. Either case this was against the trend trade for me. But this was definitely harder to spot at first I thought this was going to be a 30m roughly long setup as it was pretty far away from my 50SMA but then as it started to range usually far off from 50SMA trades go two legs up or down this one went only 1 leg down when I went long and the signal came pretty early into the session which was somewhat unusual and that got me wondering if it is going to be what thought it was going to be well turns out it was an against the trend trade I am working towards not taking them altogether and taking with the trend trades in the future. But for now I think being able to identify whether or not it's against or with the trend is going to be a challenging task for me.

It's an uptrend supported by a very shallow/narrow trend line - that trend was strong ! now it's about to break up. While I still do see this as an uptrend I'm seeing a possibility of range or there's also a possibility of top forming here, we'll need horizontal support first. It's going to be a LONG day. I can't grab my 20pips and call it a day in 30mins today.

so we've got range which can go up or down or a top which of course will only go down.

I need to go with the trend or go with the winning army, and hold it longer.

I went mental today.
As an excuse I started trading 5m "hopefully" along with the trend.
Good enough excuse ?

As in $ I'm back to where I was 1.71DD but I can still get out of this hole by the end of this week. I just have to be better prepared another excuse I wasn't feeling good, ok I take it back that's an excuse.

Anyhow just a second ago I wanted to quit everything, remember I was a bit off today so after collecting my "feelings", "emotions" I'm back to the dance floor. Yes I didn't do well today totally went against my plan single entry per day I couldn't read the direction well but now in hindsight yes I can see it crystal clear improvement ? probably. Regardless lesson is learned and we make it better and better each trading day by learning fro our mistakes.

I think I'm finally realizing what veteran traders meant when they said "trade what you see"
If then I'll do this
If that I'll do that or simply stay put whatever floats your boat.

And risk, risk and 1 more risk how essential it is and can't be separated from the consistency package - there's always another trade !

I'm greatly humbled. Especially past few days have been a pure bliss.

The other day <last week> I took a leisurely stroll to the market usually I am spewing negative energy out on everything I observe and come in contact with. But that day was different yes I was trying to be present and aware of my surrounding and above all accept the present moment as it is and not pass any judgements or let my mind wonder off to mental hospital but it was also the first time in my 28 years as an aware conscious being and not merely a noisy conditioned mind or "myself".

I felt like the veil has been lifted and I could finally perceive the beautiful present moment just as it is no add ons, no judgements, no noisy mind. There was intense healing and peace on top of presence. Occasionally the mind battled against the consciousness but overall it was a pleasant experience. I couldn't believe that I was living in a prison that my mind has built ever since I was born. Conditioning starts from an early age. And I never felt this free. The journey to awakening will continue on as I've had too much self inflicted and external suffering that I couldn't bare it any longer.

How does it relate to the trading ? For a start seeing things as they are and staying present is already a big jumpstart as "traders" often impose our biases, opinions and judgements onto the market instead of accepting the flow and flowing along with the flow. I recently got rid of every little colorful lines from my chart. And much like how I felt that day walking along the streets I also feel like the veil has been lifted and I could finally see the truth - now. The journey will carry on. I used to regret getting into all of this - trading but now I have no regrets AT ALL for the lessons and the valuable experiences that it taught me plus for adding on more to my suffering that I finally couldn't take it anymore and like Eckhart said it destroyed itself. If I took on an easier path not that there's many but an office job ? I don't think I would be here as an individual/trader/conscious being where I am.

my entry was a little too early I haven't been nailing down my entries.
but I really shouldn't be too hard on myself its only beginning

I'll hold onto to these trades longer as I progress and grow more comfortable and confident with my method.
I'm still in the polishing out the rough edges phase.
And already feeling this isn't one of those elusive edges, its the edge.

BE for the day

two short entries.

I keept getting out of trades this kind of short was my first evert successful attempt yes BE is good for this type of pattern. At first I thought we were going for a long but then just 25minutes into Frankfurt it started to climb up as for yesterday the climb up happened during London open. Now looking back I could have gotten in on the climb up although it was too early for me pattern wise it's just the same as yesterdays pattern at the open. Nevertheless I had to follow some rules. I realized that downward pressure was somewhat weak for todays short maybe because of the supports for cup patterns the cup handle provided some good support. So for next time I'll wither it through the supports and will not close it as early as I did today. I will also "try" my best to hold it at least for 35-40minutes then I can hit 40-60pips.

Learned so much for todays daytrading session.

I did decrease the lot down to 0.1 from 0.2
From next week I'll do 0.2
I need to slowly adjust to bigger lot but of course I shouldn't trade too big for my account size
But I could definitely do 0.8 but first off I need to warm up a bit

As for my method, its becoming better and better pips wise I did + but since I decrease the lot size I'm down a little
Thus far two consecutive positive week
I need bit more of confidence in the method
But everyday I'm presented with new pattern/variation/challenge
So it's difficult to say I've mastered them all
This is why I'm also being very careful with position sizes
Although I have tried to group the possible scenarios and patterns that I could encounter with DAX
I'm thinking by the end of next week it'll all become a bit comfortable and easier as in relative sense
Trading is never easy
Also mentally I should be able to deal with losses better and efficiently without reducing the lot size
Because I know I can get out of that DD and loss by the end of the trading week
It all boils down to the method
How comfortable you are and how many hours you put in watching those patterns form over and over again
And practice really triumphs everything

As for the month of Mar as soon as I started off I immediately went below -1.17 of my capital nothing to most veteran traders
But since I am still in the process of mastering my craft I started doubting myself altogether
As for today the DD is at -0.97% yes I am recovering
And i also have to prove myself that I can recover out of this -1.17 before increasing my position size
It's definitely been a marathon, a real slow marathon.
But I am looking to recover fully by the end of Mar
And restart the next month with a slightly higher lot

In 6 months from today hopefully I'll still be trading and making small gains along with trading bigger and bigger lots and have also mastered my method.
For the longevity of the account and for my future I'll have to take this very seriously not mess things up this time because I can't afford to.
This is the last chance I'm giving myself.

first entry taken during Frankfurt I didn't realize we were having an early start !
it reached +30pips prior London open so I was determined to keep it going but what a shame I had my +30pips position go into red and a loss.

I keep reassessing the battlefield even though I have an active position going !!!!
This is becoming a huge problem and obviously having a negative impact on my performance.

I'm calling it a day here 3 entries are a top for me.
From tomorrow and onward I'm really not going to mess up with my active positions.

What happened with the MO!!!

The deep retracement haven't seen it go this further after the entry but I guess it can happen "sometimes" still would have spared my SL 15points from the HH or LL. I will let damage control take care of any mishaps or errors that I will not under any circumstance interfere manually. I'm trying to play too safe and its being counterproductive.

Let these experiences and mistakes really sink in.

I'm going to keep the lot minimal 0.1 until I recover from the DD and as I see it like today its a buy setup from a reversal from sell to buy so its been "real slow" and "kinda tricky" but then again some sells also can be very tricky whatever the case prelanned sequences if then .... if that has progressed a great deal within a short period of time that I don't think I will do very bad every day of the week. So confidence is building up. But like I said what I need to focus more on is controlling my psyche once the trade is active - that's been toughest part. According to my MO damage control "again" I like to repeat myself will take of losses/errors. Two entries are allowed max. I did 3.. Gradually like I have learned to identify flows via my mental roadmap I'm also 100% positive that I should be able to manage my active positions efficiently and get the most out of those moves.
