CG what time frame is that? also here's something to think about if your trading fx pairs like gbp,jpy,chf,EUR against usd go to sierra chart under those futures and see how 133 tick charts look and if good use sierra for charts and other for entry

That one in particular is 2000 tick. I've changed all 8 charts or pairs to ticks, of varying rates to keep roughly 10 pips between lines, so the slower pairs have larger tick rates.

Actually, i'm watching IG charts and trading with City Index. I like IG's charts, always have, so it probably isn't worth me paying for more data than current Cmeg w2ith Sierra.

It's all a process, but every time i deviate from 123, trigger pullback, i get more losses. It's really all you need!) (as you well know!)

I never used to view charts in this way. Understanding that you need to recognise where buyers and sellers have previously been entering the market is absolutely vital;

The same patterns play out, but the enemy is the spreads, (although some of them are really quite tight nowadays to be fair - the UJ is 0.5/0.6 most of the time), even so, you need a good success rate!)



When you consider that you will generally miss the bigger picture. I reversed and took the short as per my earlier chart;

Shorted the Dax at retest of 123 and supply

I almost stopped after getting 4 +1s in a row

today shows what a knife edge this game is.
three trades marked * , pulled the orders due to price bouncing nearby
one trade worth +20 didn't get filled (possibly a sim problem)
one trade with big consolidation nearby worked would have been good
another +1 be would also have been good if my stop loss rules were followed.
Thats 100 ticks missed and the crappy dregs that didn't work out give -20 on the day.

no follow through today goes 12 then reverses fortunate to get 2 that did follow through
