11800 (I repeat again 50% retracenment Trump rally) has held and strongly prices rebounded from there.
Next test is 12400 zone, more or less. Will go straight there or with some ups and downs?
Remember this week we'll have ADP NFP tomorrow, BCE+DRAGHIon thursday and US NFP on friday + some Trump tweet, as usual ....to put on fire the markets.

I enjoy your thread, thank-you, although my own trading becomes increasingly less sophisticated the older I get. I am currently preparing to jump directly from Ger30 to FDAX (which I have traded in the past) - I do think Ger30 is a better instrument to trade than FDXM if you are day trading for relatively small targets, as am I. Perhaps your swing approach makes FDXM ideal.

1. cow and sheep: I have both and both are very very good, depending on every personal taste.

2. every financial tool has + and his minus.
I prefer trade FDAX and FDXM for 4 reasons:
no overnight charges (excluded daily settlement price that you know exactly around 18 CET, not at 22 CET);
spread close to zero (0,5 for FDAX and 1 pip for FDXM);
very low commission I have on each trade (many years working on Eurex futures);
good return when I have profit (10 pips FDAX = 250 euro, excluded tax and broker commissions).

I have a daily and weekly target and when I've reached most of this target, during the day,I reduce my trades with only FDXM, no need to high risk with FDAX.

I understand. I traded Ger30 CFD over the FXDM on a cost basis :

FDXM 1 tick/point (€5) spread plus about €3.30 rt commission =€8.30 cost per trade.
Ger30 1 point spread no commission = €5 cost per trade @ 50 units / €5 per point. (Edit : & of course Ger30 has much more granularity with 0.1 min move)
FDAX commission to spread ratio is much smaller than FDXM, if one has the resources to trade it.

Even only trading 5 x one lots / day, this adds up over the course of one year & covers quite a few losses.

often after a huge daytrade as yd, with 400 pips move betwwen lows and highs, FDAX remain in a strict narrow range the day after.
The wild horse is tired and now is sleeping waiting US for next jump. My small idea at midday.

Quite agree jtrade - I have 0.75 and 0.9 spreads and of course no commission on GER30.

FDAX M30 chart update

Strict narrow range 210 till 230. Up and down these levels only spikes.
US will give us the explosion out of these boudaries: up or down?
