Hello, what is the time frame indicated for those who have little capital? do I need any indicators to operate this EA? how does he put TP and SL? Are there any updates to this EA?

What's important is not so much the GMT time, but your brokers server time in relation to it. The time in the EA is based on broker server time, so you need to figure out the difference in relation to GMT, and then set your session time accordingly.

My broker server time is GMT +2, and currently London and GMT on on the same time, so that means at LO my server time will be 10, that's why I set it at 10, you see now?

1) so is it safe to allow this trade to run? does the this trade valid per system rules?

1. Yes it is a valid signal as per the strategy.

2. Firstly it depends on your settings if you have allow reentries on same pair = true.

If = true then if there was a previous order in the same direction it will open another order after the mins between same pair has elapsed.

If = false it will not open a new order in the same direction, only a new signal on the same pair, so buy, sell, buy sell, etc.

Do you intervene at all with the positions opened and managed by the EA with your presets on your account (for example closing profits) or do you just let them run?
The reason I ask this is a little fear of long-ongoing chop markets where price just triggers one setup after another but doesn't trends in one direction thus giving false breakouts.

For this test there is no manual intervention, I just let the EA do its thing, but on my personal account I might close an order early if I see the trend changing and going against me.

IMO you can never fully trust an EA to do everything, and even the best EA's still need some monitoring and manual intervention sometimes.

Your 100% right here.
That's why they are called Expert Advisors and not Expert Traders.

But why do you not withdraw your initial 250 ?
You have build up profit enough to cover the margin needed for the next coming trades and in all honesty i see this account go the same way as the previous ones.
At least your money is save and you can live another day to try again and trade with a (modified) strategy.

Hello Mrdfx,
I have a question about your TS Setting. Your first trigger for TS1 is set at 40 and the TS1 is 30 for this one. Then how come there are few trades which are closed by a small profit margin of under 7 pips? It has happened with me too and I want to know where is this getting controlled from.

I was under the impression that for this setting anything below 40 pips cannot move the SL at all.

IMHO, one can never leave an EA untended. The markets are designed to take your money.

Market Makers spend millions of dollars if not more to manipulate the markets with algorithmic programming.
Also, all of us in this thread know how manipulative our own brokers can be.So, to think that an EA, based on a few indicators, can beat the big boy's manipulative intent, is a bit myopic no?.

I have been trading for 12 years with the last 5 years in pretty good profit. I am a full time trader, not retired, and do make my money completely from the markets.
I can do this, I believe, because I look at the markets from an order based perspective. Where are the Market Makers manipulating the price action, to pick up some low hanging fruit by way of protective stops placed by the less informed.

Having written that, I am subscribed to this thread because I am interested in EAs. I do believe that attended EA's can be a great confirmation tool for a planned price action based trade, reversal, counter trend, or with the trend.

I want to thank MRdfx for coming up with this system and @ebecker for the programming. Great job guys, thanks

I have considered doing that, but I will wait a bit longer an then take back my initial deposit and let it run.

Ouch looks like JPY pairs took a knock yesterday and last night.

Well tbh I was anticipating a loss to come soon after the flawless run we've had.

We still 37% up for the month and have 2 more weeks to go to complete the first month live test, lets see if things can recover.

EA indicated the AUDCAD sell signal, anyone get that? but EA doesn't make the trade, anyone? (I have checked the possible spread, and re-enter trade setting).

also by looking at mrdfx's TE, he still holding the AUDCAD buy. anyone explain?
