5 trades today but used a different system thats usually good for more sideways movement. Usually looking to pick up 15-20 pip wins but was lucky today. Its also good to change things up once in a while keeps you alert.

What is the rules of your different system?
What is the settings of those indicator?
Entry point & Exit point.

Well done!I saw the GBP trades and i was certain you would post them!!! I got a small profit,Went out early.
Is that a 20 period SMA or EMA?

That is a 20 period hull moving average with a 14 period rsi with ob/os set at 55/45. the rest is self evident.

I am not going to recommend brokers especially since I don't use mt4 or 5. I use a full service broker because I trade futures, options weekly and monthly, and once in awhile etf's. I am not a big believer in using huge leverage 50:1 is max USA allows so thats what I use, going much higher than that invites problems.

Good day everyone.
Managed to make 19 pips on eurjpy sell.Took the trade on mt4 desktop but exited on mt4 android as i was now out of the office.The exit was a bit premature because managing the trade on the phone is a bit difficult since the visuals are not exactly the same.

How did you know to trade the gbp pairs? I was loking at the winner indi and it is showing the gbp as down on the 4h and up on 1h so i didnt focus on that pair.

Look at the charts they all show same thing a downtrend followed by a period of consolidation which is my favorite kind of chart. Because it could either keep going down or reverse and gives you clear entry points.

Today was a day when power ind. was relatively useless since none of major currencies were making any moves.

Hi Rockypoint,

- If Euro is weakest on power indicator than it means only short Euro. Does that mean if price crossed above cloud on Eur/USD you would not ever take a long position because it is in conflict with the power indicator weak signal ?

- When I look at some of your charts...you ride out the price even when it gets close to cloud or touches cloud. Does that make you nervous to ride it out like that when it is approaching cloud? I am not sure I could hold on and would feel to bail ship when it got close to the cloud

Hey Ed,

The power indicator is for one thing telling you what weakest and or strongest currencies are for the trading session. I don't even look at the pairs just the indivdual
currencies strength. Indicator has no bearing on trade entry but the cloud does long only when price is above cloud or short only if price is below cloud, just like AO
only long if AO is positive only short when AO is negative.

After 11 years of full time trading nerves are pretty much gone, though volatile day can still boost the adrenaline, which I love.

Demo trading is good for learning how to use and trade a system and the platform you use, but it does lack with emotional feedback you get when you go live. I recommend that people demo trade till they understand the trading system, the platform and risk management. Then go live but trading only mini or micro lots till they understand the fear/greed that trading causes and they are consistently profitable. Then gradually work your way up to full lots, trade a min lot where each pip is $1, when your comfortable with results move $2 a pip and so on. Each move up in lot size will require experiencing fear/greed factor again but eventually you get cold.

I usually trade 1-5 lots but I will once in a while trade up to 10 you just get used to it.

Discipline in trading is the most important thing to my mind, but what affects that discipline more than anything are the 2 things that drive the market fear and greed.
