Since dollar held very well at its weekly demand zone 89.25-87.66 4 weeks in a row.... I start to feel this EU new high 2555 is a fake breakout.... we might see EU downside movement.. of course the COT report will tell us more later...

Just got COT report as of 2/13/2018, I see institutions profit taking on their Euro longs for 3rd week in a row, they closed 20,584 lots longs and also closed 7050 lots shorts. net Longs cut by 13,534 lots . more info coming this week

I think this drop may go deep.. since they didn't put on short positions..( future buyers)...

dropped my entry to 2294 in case it gaps.. Using boulder's cot.. I dropped entry from 50% retrace at 2380 to 75% at 2292 +2. I can always swap back later.

institutions are playing games.. by closing their last week shorts...jacked up price.... squeeze other shorts.. .suck people in for longs.. ,then dump their own longs ., the real purpose for them is to unwind their record longs when reaching monthly supply zone 2500s...

That may be true for some. Those big institutions made the year, quarter, month and week now close higher. They have multiple motives. Keeping the dollar low allows them to borrow cheap. The positions they hold may just be a lesser part of their portfolio. Lots of unforeseen, unknown reasons. European based institutions may see the closes higher and started buying the usd as a hedge.

the fed raises rates.. and the usd weakened
tax cuts and the usd weakened
Corporations repatriating offshore money and the usd weakening

7.5% was added to the deficit.
more talk to add that much, plus.
additionally the interest rates have risen.
adding 4 trillion usd in debt to a 20,000,000,000,000 $ deficit. debt is like diluting the usd with 20% more usd.
the usd should lose 20% of its value. compounded with higher interest.
