A very good question : the last 90 mins into the NQ Day Session Close @ 3pm Eastern (22:00 Central European Time) - index futures Close used to be 10.15 local, no idea when it changed...

Day 2 DAX update : -16 > +16 > -16 > +26 > STOP ! (numbers are based on 0.5 pt = 1, as FDAX futures trading is the goal)

Inevitable consequence of this Mad Dog position sizing : any significant losing day will wipe out all profit to date (and probably more).

Challenging matter to address : my FX account, which I am also using for my H8 experiment (going fine, thank-you), is very small ... assuming I have H8 positions, I will run out of DAX margin around 50 units (€5/pt). I will not be able to reach 125 units, half 1 x FDAX contract, after which the MD progression would be to switch to the futures. So I will have to make a big jump from €5 to €25 pt. if/when I reach 50 units. I will then switch to sim 1 x FDAX & start building my mental strength for "FDAX Live" : we need to trade from inner stillness, and one must be mentally very strong to do so.

After all, it is not the method that succeeds - or the spoon that bends - but oneself...

lots of volume when trading smaller tick charts you cant take every nook and cranny when you get a 2b followed by 123 break then pullback to me is safer

man what a frustrating day. came so close to my daily target multiple times and just couldn't get it. ended w/ 18, but I took 17 trades

Once again very nice trading H! I had a few orders placed but no connect until late in the session. 1 trade +13 only. After missing out on the other trades I was trying for I just grabbed a few ticks to get something today. I should have held this one.

they are both daily volume profiles. Left 1 is extended hours (includes overnight session). Right 1 starts when market opens. Not sure I need all that but trying it.
