Yep...not nearly as impressive as the 1987 drop .......
About 100 or so to go here on this futures chart....

its all a house of cards when you really look at it....bonds always have the last say, yields could grow some legs...

1987 is the big bang, nothing has come close to that since then, look at the VIX back then, check the intraday highs to understand how close it was to just all coming apart at the seems...

its was a 23% break, in ONE day....that would be around 6000 points today...I was still in high school, I graduated in 1988....

Yep, I was trading then, but was at work that day so I didn't get any trades off that day...

Dow futures pretty much hit the target today (missed by 8 points)
