Hello Dana. Having nice success with Paradox. Question for you. Any thought about converting to MQL5?? Only a matter of time and broker support for MQL4 will tail off. And you get a system provided H2 chart that would eliminate the need for the period converter and improve performance. Thanks for continuing to support Paradox.

Well, here it goes. I am most likely over analyzing it, too much doubt.

Paradox Trading Plan – 28/01/2018
News: No red news.

Daily: Open 45 pips below Purple.
ROMAR – Support
EMA – Support
PSAR – Resistance

Check list:
Last MACD 0 Crossing – Down
Last EMA Alert Arrow – Up
Last DB Attachment – Bottom
Fibonacci – Down

Notes:
White and Smooth crossed Purple down. EMA is at the crossing of Purple. DB attached on bottom and SAR attached on bottom on different candles, next on top. Gold divergence is attached with the SAR on bottom. I believe the same occurred in the DB/SAR tutorial by Dana on the H1. On that tutorial, Dana said that the market would continue down to DB to connect together. Is that the same now? Don’t know.

2 HOURS:

EMA – Resistance
PSAR – Resistance

Notes:
A new strong trend down with the horsemen and ROMAR crossing EMA down. Last EMA and MACD alerts came in the correct order for the down. The market touched bottom BB and the Fibonacci flipped for the up with the market going sideways for balance on bottom. The BB’s has opened up for more movement down. The DB/SAR is attached on bottom with Sky-blue divergence.

1 HOUR:
ROMAR – Resistance
EMA – Resistance
PSAR – Resistance

Notes:
ROMAR has crossed EMA down. Horsemen down with White crossing of Purple. Open candle above Smooth. BB’s opening up for more down movement.

Final notes:
Daily consolidation. H2 down. H1 down. The market is in a consolidated ranging with the H1 and H2 strong down. Trading is from the bottom to top or top to bottom. At the moment, we are at the bottom. I know that I should only have one direction at the end in final notes (Hendo mentioned it in a post not long ago).
Due to being in ranging, the preferred entry would be a long in a wait for H2 White/Purple crossing. All of the charts DB and SAR’s next attachment is on top. I am very insecure about it due to the H1 and H2 being in strong trend down. We’ll see.

Slightly confused with when the market is in consolidation i.e. the daily is not in sync with the h2 and h1 does that mean we can trade against the h2 trend if given conformation by the 4 horsemen or does it mean that we still only look for trades that follow the h2 trend if the h2 and h1 are in sync ive read all the examples in the document 3 times through but most of the charts posted are purely the h1 chart which I know means we are allowed to ignore the ROMAR

This is what I was confused about, I thought that the BB opening up suggested the continuation of the downtrend as Dana had stated before however looking at the H1 chart seeing the crossing of purple and white I then waited to see if smooth was a slider indicating continuation of the downtrend but it was a clean cross so I am unsure and think that means that I should wait. Please can someone correct and I will post my trading plan as well if needed.

I am personally having a hard time knowing when a ranging has ended/started and when to use the horsemen after that and such. Originally I was going to have two different entries, one for long, one for short, but decided not do due to what Hendo has said and choose one of them. We will just have to see what any experienced traders say. Looking forward to it!

Long: Went long on the H1 open candle with smooth, white crossing with purple.
Evaluation: +40 , according to master DOVE in ranging DB & SAR go together. Last DB attached at bottom & hence next DB at top.

Evaluation from master DOVE will grow my confidence and give me the right Trac.

Hi all! This is my first trading plan on this thread but not the first post. I am following this system for some months. Once again my thanks to Dove (Dana), the senior traders and all others on this thread. I was a back ground follower of this system. I do my trading plans on my book and maintain journals. But recently I feel like I cannot complete my training without posting trading plans. I will try to post my trading plans everyday until I get this system engraved in my heart.

Evaluation: SL40. Market went up to meet with H4 EMA - SL hit. Entered too early for a Short & entry was also pretty much dead centre between Daily's EMA Resistance & SAR on Bottom. If a Short was on this session, waiting for a SAR on the H2 Parabolic for re-entry back into trend rather than the BB hit would had given more pip count to Support at the H2 DB/SAR (Daily SAR) & a higher Resistance entry, may have been the trade for today's session.

Never created a FF account always watched from the sides and decided not that long ago to finally create an account to ask some questions however I think this is the best way to learn further, please correct any mistakes so I can learn from them. Also getting a widescreen monitor tomorrow to help.

I have missed the entry due to being asleep. I am unsure whether I should do a self evaluation if I have missed an entry, so I will do it to be sure.

Result: No Entry.

Self-Evaluation: I believe it was an incorrect entry as it seems now that the horsemen are working fine as resistance, the entry would be against the trend. In a ranging market, I am having a hard time knowing when and when not to use the horsemen and when resistance will hold. Also when it starts as well as ends. That is something I need to study more of.

Entered long after parabolic hit on the H1 as I thought due to my SL at 40 pips Is way out of the Fibo on both H1 and H2 and on H1 my entry being at the bottom where both the DB and SAR had attached. Unsure if this is the correct entry but for not I have set my TP and SL so will let it play out.

Hello Traders,

Here is last nights trade. Pulled the trigger then went to sleep, woke up to +40. The market went against me for about 15 pips. My SL was not going to be hit as I had PSAR and ROMAR back stopping my trade. Here is my plan with screen shot. Trade executed on my lap top, bar spread and FIBO are incorrect.


Session: Sydney EUR-JPY 1/28/2018

Daily: Open 30 pips below Purple.

ROMAR: Support
EMA: Resistance
Parabolic: Resistance

Notes: Horsemen down. SAR down with Gold Divergence attach 20 pips above 50.0 FIBO. Trend EMA arrow up. MACD zero cross arrow down. FIBO down.

H2

ROMAR: Resistance
EMA: Resistance
Parabolic: Eliminated

Notes: Horsemen down. Purple crossed White up. EMA holding resistance. DB down with Blue Divergence attach at 0.0 FIBO. Lower BB pierced. Trend EMA arrow down. MACD zero cross arrow down. FIBO up.

H1

ROMAR: Resistance
EMA: Resistance
Parabolic: Support

Notes: Purple crossed White, Smooth up. EMA holding resistance.

Final Notes: H1, in tight consolidation ROMAR trend down. H2, and Daily in sync with down trend. Market is in a consolidated down trend. H2 lower BB pierced. I will enter short position off H2 resistance. I expect the market to go in a tight consolidated ranging, with no major news releases scheduled. I’ll be patient and wait for a retrace to EMA or take a pass and wait for tomorrow.

Adjustments:

Short: Entered short position on H2 06:00 mid candle retrace to EMA resistance. Set TP +40 SL 40.

Result: Took +40 from the market.

Result: -40
Self-evaluation: I think i underestimated the reference of H4, Daily. It was downtrend with 4 horsemen down on H4, Daily.
I thought the crossing of purple at white and smooth on H2 (plus DB/SAR attached to bottom on 3 charts) would be reversal and a position for long. But it is definitely a counter-trade in this situation.

Lets begin with your trading plan is not a trading plan. Next - your charts are not correct by any means. First thing you need to do is get your charts correct.

Ty - where is your H4 chart? Using the H4 as a reference you would had seen the entry.

Trader - you have a lot to learn. The H1 is NOT a trading chart. And that has been stipulated through out this thread. And the rule also stipulates your H2 chart is posted with all entries showing the entry.
