The event itself is not important.
Think in terms of what will be necessary to happen to have the largest number of losing trades trapped by the news (any news)

If the market reacts similar to what happened during the shutdown of 2013, the dollar will take a hit earlier next week, but rebound the week after.

Unfortunately we dont know for sure. The debate is on how badly will it affect the USD which have already been on a downhill since 2017.

My guess is that the USD is already heavily battered by other factors so it will not affect the bigger trend.
I look for value wherever it can be found
