You sad it was alot more and some coding?!?
More variations of the formation?
Which trade do you see as "good" and the "best" one to take ?
Do you use support/resistence, pivots, round nummer, time of day?
Why do you use so different lots (sometime 0.1 and sometime 3.3)?
You seem to be very confident in your trades......
It must be an edge.....

I want to know more for sure
(If you want to share?!)

Regards

Attached usdchf 5m (almost the same setup is on higher tf).

In basic language:
- is a good sell moment when green cross red?
- later green intersect red few times, is the 1st sell still valid? sl (which I may think is the high red bar from the left) is not yet reached. Or exit with as much as you can as tp might not be reached?
- last, supposing that green will cross red, will the buy be valid?

Maybe you could show a few cases where the setup is getting invalidated.
What about conflicting scenarios on different tf, on 5m is a sell, on 15 is a buy, on 1h is a sell ... should something be considererd?

Maybe you explained it well and no other question is needed ... could we go to other pattern?

Good morning,

To answer your question, if you are settng up for an inverted cup and handle, which means you are expecting a 100% recovery of the move down, then you setup would have been the winner. Recall that the stop loss for the 100% correction to the downside is a touch of the high created when the top ma line was green. Now look at your chart and tell me the top of the move was touched?

Apart of us growing as family on this thread would be us finding all the variations together.

As for what you show as a potential buy at the far bottom right can not be a buy because the top ma line is still red... Please look at the rules and write them down because you need to drill it into your head.

The top op the move was not touched (top being around ~0.9667).
Yes, is not yet a buy but supposing that green will cross red being on top of it, looks like a buy, no? now just crossed. or now is the handle?

Not that I write something you don't already know ...

Plenty cases on high tf, I post one on eurcad h4.
Green crossed red, was a news event, now: when is the good moment to enter?
Since the tf is high, it is less probable that a drop to tp will suddenly happen ... it took 6d to make it up, might take another 6d to go down. Also, just after the intersection the price is not so favorable. Then the key is waiting with a good mm plan behind? or ... something to add here?
Maybe now the lower tf(s) will indicate if the expected will continue to be valid or not? ... a magical formula.

The key is always sticking to the money management. I have an account which is up well over 800% using this same method with a more aggressive money management setup. Say you enter the short but you max out on the first order based on original moneh management plan, however, you add more as you go omto drawdown and further creates a much larger loss than original. Now i stick to the mm and system and can careless if the spikes 50 pips in 30 seconds, i simply do nothing.

As i mentioned before i would more than likely take the cup and handle extension first then catch the massive move. It's easy to say it after the fact but not being emotional is the hardest part.

From experience, you always wait for the signal to be confirmed or is there any advance information to indicate that the things will go on the expected side?

Your te starts to look more like the subject of this thread, unless you invalidate the setup! good luck!
