the other thing mate is the consistent number of profits before a loss that is why i put it on i realise that it is a demo and not my real account this is the stage where new traders need to be before a real account is opened consistent profits i will be taking the demo down shortly hope more feedback will come before i do .

In my humble opinion a demo cannot produce the one ingredient that is critical for trading success - EMOTIONS.

No matter how you slice it, the emotions are different when REAL money is on the line.

I suggest starting as soon as possible with REAL hard earned money. Even if its $50. Learn to protect your capital and control your emotions.

been trading real accounts for 25 years + i trade for living and for fun since i retired , you forgot patience , this demo is 9 days old does it look like i need to practice on demo but thank you for you advice its 25 years to late

Before you invest any amount you should have an edge, a winning system. If you do not complete this first step no matter what amount you put in, you will have an astronomically higher chance of losing it.

In my journal The Life & Times of suFreshFX (Based on a True Story) I was able to take $10 and turn it into $10,000 in 15 trading days on a live account.

My advice would be:

Learn how to trade properly.

Once you learn how to trade, build a small profit before increasing your risk.

Do not invest large sums of money into an account. You will be able to trade any amount with proper money management and grow the account once you learn how to trade properly

Hi all,
Hope all of you are doing well!
I would like to share my views on investing in Forex, i would suggest to first and foremost learn the market in a proper manner, do a proper research on the instruments and market volatility and once you figure out the best style you feel you can trade conformable with start trading on demo account, once your attain experience in demo account move to the Live Account, invest less in the Live account with high leverage which will increase your trading margin, Keep the profits in your account and starts investing on the profits, this is how you can earn and learn on low investment growing with a good rate.

i am doing this demo for a while to show how much swaps add up

8th day swaps $732.95 total swaps = $7906.86

Money is not a factor for safe trading. No amount of money is safe unless you follow good risk management policy. It's about how expert you are and how well you can manage your trade and risk. Some people think more money means I am safe. Only invest good amount of money if you know what you are exactly doing.

To improve yourself in trading, it is not good to trade with very small account size or big account size. With small account you won´t be cautious and it is similar to trade on demo account. With too much money, it is very hard to stay fully concentrated on your trades. The best way, in my opinion, is to start with smaller account and then gradually add the capital as you start to improving your trading.

OR you have a big bank account, so drawdown means nothing to you ..
