as for win to loss ratio I could do so much better than 48%, let's bring that upto 60%.

I think another reason why it moved this much and this quick is that PA on 15m, when London came there had been 10 candles right below the 15m 200ema, it had been ranging since last friday, so not much ranging to carry on for London and it had been sitting at a high altitude for sellers already, no fakey was necessary + plus US holidays.

now that it had reached 1h 200ema I doubt it would keep on going going (although you can never exclude the possibility if you had caught the 50pips then you should call it a day here lucky you !

The thing with London open is that the usual range is somewhere around 60 - 70 pips.
Sometimes it goes up or down 60 - 70pips just like that right at the open especially if there's no visible S&R nearby.
If there're many hoops to jump through it will usually go 30pips reverse, then another 30 or 40pips.

That's done for the open for DAX.

Now there's another 50pips to be caught in an hour or 1 hour prior US open, (I don't trade US open, I'm an early bid) so my projection for the day is around 100pips.
I plan on catching both of these 50pips, even it meant incrementally, but as of right now I'm not even catching the London open move.

I think I should just focus on getting 50pips at London open, let's take things step by step.

And if I can consistency catch this 50pips, I guess I should even be going after anything else. Because consistency is key for me right now. Probably the only way to ever make a living out of this. Let alone loads of $$$. Dream on. I need to make a living first and foremost.

It fell down as fast and as hard as it went up.
My bias was up.
I wouldn't have sold it there.
But prominent resistance level was there.
DAX can be wild!
So be cautious.

So here's the deal.

I will only attempt to capture the move around London open I'm looking at anywhere between 60 - 70pips.
I will hold the trade for anywhere between 10 - 20m (at most), I'm only holding them for as little as 1m now no wonder I'm missing on much of the move.

Most important thing is that I wait for a signal on 2m, don't go in too early. If there's no signal, wait wait and wait. Don't force it. Gauge the direction from 15m,1h and 4h as I have been doing the past few trades.

Think I'm getting better at gauging the direction of the move at London open, and pinpointing a signal on 2m. Next challenge would be to hold onto trades longer in order to increase my winners as opposed to losers aka challenge 2.

if you were on 2m you wouldn't have guessed that we were going to get this much at 17:30 slot which I decided not to trade for now until I perfect London open. I think I eventually would like to make my entries on 15m, you just get more. now wait a minute ! that's not entirely true, I did get a long signal at 17:30 on 2m, but I would be lying if I said I never saw it coming. Well if I had paid more attention to 15m and how by 17:30 price had found support and made it back up above 15m 200ema. Now there were little to stop price from coming back down again from there. I think I should be able to determine if I should trade 17:30 until 19:00 or 20:00 through 22:00 slot by looking at PA on 15m.

but for now entry on 2m and directional bias on 15m.

London open sucked big time
My bias was "down"

however it didn't want to go down and yet had no momentum to carry it above 13215
still think it could go up a little from there.

for me I'm down -1.5% dd

I guess I should sometimes still stick with my directional bias and if something feels off just pass it ?

Lesson 1

If London goes against my bias don't trade the London open come back in an hour and see if there's tradeable setups.

I got the directional bias wrong

DAX did go up 40-50pips range during London open

1m chart showed the directional bias better than 2m or 15m
from what I have experienced with DAX especially around London if there's a legitimate signal on 2m I should go ahead and take it even if it comes prior London open, or 10minutes into London session. The bottom line, there has to be a legitimate signal. If it aligns better with 15m,1h great! but even if I'm a little unsure if the signal is present on 1m I should just go ahead and take it.

Today was that kind of day.
I'm going to enter from 1m, I just get a better view and a better deal with SL and entry price.

As for signals after London open I should stick with 15m and see if I can get a signal at 17:30 or 20:00 slot. No trading in betweens.
