What are you setting profit targets at ? 50 pips?

I am still testing manually cross checking with FXM. When a new signal is on or not on the list I open the trade manually and keep track to see if it was a successful trade or not.

So far its been 50/50 with some trades that were not on the FXM list being winners, and some trades that were not on the list being winners. I am still checking to see if it is filtering out the losers.

Guys slight adjustments have been made to the lot size used for the fixed lot size charts. I think I went a bit high to start and the first signal took a knock. I have reduced to 0.5 lot.

This shouldn't affect the final results to much I hope as there's still a whole month to go.

CADCHF hit SL: -44pips, overall this month still positive with +198pips. 1 more week to go, things can change. Let's see

The TE is off to a bad start this week, the first 3 trades all hit SL and with my error of lot sizing, that took out a big chunk of the balance.

Lets hope things turn around as they did on the previous test.

Guys I have decided to remove this TE and replace with a new one starting today.

Reasons being that I wanted to do a "real world" test, and use a realistic starting balance and lots size etc, and also cos I made an error with the initial lot sizing, and it screwed up initial results and would have not given an accurate final reading.

Hopefully with this new test we will monitor the performance more accurately in a realistic environment.

Oy Vay!! This is a great example of why NOT to trade just before or after the news!! Canadian rate hike has it fluctuating quite a bit.

- Includes the S&R filter which you can turn on/off
- When turned on (UseSupportResistanceFilter ) the EA will only open trades where the zigzag appears in close distance from a S&R line
- When turned on the EA shows an extra S&R column indicating if zigzag is appear at a S&R level
- you can specify the max. allowed distance (in pips) between the SR level and the zigzag arrow with MaxPipsFromSR (default = 30 pips)


Note:
I've also uploaded the separate S&R indicator.
this indicator is NOT needed by the EA. The EA has the S&R indicator internal
But the separator S&R indicator can be used if you want to view/ verify the S&R levels
Simply attach it to a chart and make sure both separate S&R indicator and EA use the same settings..

the trades close prematurely ,i kept on trailing but it seems that it doesnt trail and closes on TS1.Any suggestions please?
