But your are not trading on candle close but current price (open candle).

no all signals are based on candles which have been closed

Request seconded.

We would rather wait for another opportunity of a candle cross from below sma15 and close above it than open a trade when the move has already gone +60 pips.
Patience is key and we have 28 pairs we are looking at.

@ebeckers - Whilst we're on the topic of candles. In a previous post (read the quoted post) : https://www.forexfactory.com/showthr...4#post10659874
I appear to have had an issue when a BUY trade was opened, despite the candle closed BELOW the SMA15.
I just wanted to highlight this, as I'm unsure exactly what happened here, and might be pertinent to the development/bugs.

And finally, just wanted to express my gratitude for your time and efforts working on this project!

Trades are taken inter-H4-bar.
MA15 switch looks at the close of the previous bar (shift 1)
What if previous bar closed on the right side but the current price isn't on that side anymore.

I'm just following mrdfx's strategy here ;-) Current bar is still open and in progress and we ignore it.
We only look at the closed bars

i was planning to simulate manual trading for 3 months, but it took 1 hour to simulate 1 month even at max speed, i had to stop it.
here's the result
EURNZD, 03 june - 20 june 2017.
4 trades (3 win, 1 loss). no SL, max minus floating 200 pips.
it seem i trade following trend instead reversal

arrow signal was always repainting, it tested before i and my equity went to stoped out. i had to ignore arrow signal.
"Hope" is dangerous word in trading, trade what you see not what you hope!

may be there is a coding technique to check if the price is x pips away from the 15 SMA and NOT open position if the price is too far away from the MA?

I have very basic and silly question.in EA we see zigzag candle and MBFX candle set on 10,where are these indicators? it's not in zip folder.please direct me to the post where can be located?

The trades my very well end up profitable in the end however the stress of waiting through drawdown I would rather wait till the next signal.

Start up your terminal and EA, this is a one time event even with upgrades to the EA or MT4 (trades are trades).
Look at the charts of the pairs opened by the EA and if you do not like the entry point kill them off.
This process will cost you a couple of pips but hey, it is only once (that is if you yourself do not mess around with the trades a lot).

some people seem to stop/start the EA 10x times a day ;-)
Anyway.. we will look into this.
