Have HOD today and yesterday marked + 5min opening range as area of interest. (don't have TPO available)

Testing a simple candle trailer for profit to see if this makes any difference. I find it easier to stay in a trade with rules rather than jump out.

If people don't mind, I am also going to post 6E trades. I'm doing simple 123s in the direction of the trend which I am defining as above or below the midpoint. Trying that out.

I have noticed that I lose out on a lot of ticks because I get out too early. I'd rather have some losses and then have my winners be bigger. So I am only going to post my losses, to train me to take them. Also, I am going to have a straight 15 tick stop loss.

edit: So another weird thing with my trading platform. One trade with 8 ticks and it posts a loss? Every platform I try there seems to be some type of problem... like the sounds or profits reporting... Lucky it's on sim.

Anyway, So I happily got one loss because I moved stop to +1 instead of leaving it on the last swing high. Cost my a couple of ticks. I should have risked the loss. Pleae Gd will trade NQ on Monday.

Tuesday was a very pleasant surprise so was the 8 minutes of trading on Wednesday before I had to go to dr. I think next week volume begins to pick up still undecided if I will go to 3 lots or not will make that decision over the weekend

I am just looking through the studies for Sierra Charts. While AMP uses a paid package if you want TPO and "number bars", they still allow all the other volume studies it seems. So, for instance, i can use volume value area lines (which has Vol POC, Vol VAH, and Vol VAL), and also volume by price (which has a point of control and seems to have most of the info from TPO, but shows just the info for the bars on chart), any ideas about how i might grab the needed TPO info from these studies? For example, using Volume by Price and putting yesterday's bars only on the chart to get the lines? Just thinking out loud here . . .

Just use reference back 1 period with the study. Note that's the TPO volume value areas from market profile, not the Volume by Price volume areas which you can still use with package 3.

To use volume by price profile like that, make multiple profiles by fixed period and use reference back period 1 and do not use evening sessions.
