Could someone who is running ea on 4hr please check back on their trades.

My ea keeps opening trades which are not on 4hr candle close.

There is clearly an issue with the ea so please use with caution as its not following candle close !

if it helps I noticed that it is a re-entry from a closed ea sell trade (CHFJPY) at 14:53

What is your setting for "minsBetween2TradesOnSamePair"? If you don't want to re-open another trade after the first trade for a certain Zigzag arrow was closed, then make sure that this setting is greater than what you have entered under Candles to look back for confirmation - "ZigZagCandles".

Example: if the ZigzagCandles is 10, then enter 2400 in minsBetween2TradesOnSamePair.

No you are wrong. The EA will open orders at ANY time, not only at candle closes !
So if you start your EA at 15:24 and there are valid buy/sell signals then it will open orders for them right away. It won't wait for the current candle to close

However it uses the previous closed candle(s) to determine if signals is valid.
The current candle which is still building and which is still open is not used to determine if we should open a new trade or not.
we have to take into account that the price can go back 20-50 pips

Many thanks for the EA, it is really brilliant! @ebeckers I use the set file of Mrdfx advised in another post to do the backtest and get great result in past 5 years.

Ebeckers, When the order hit SL, can you make the EA to open a double lot with same direction(with same SL and half TP of previous order) to cover the loss? I studied the backtest record, and found that opening a double lot will make the profit much more stable.

Another possible reason could be that the trade was closed by one of your TS levels and then as the signal was still valid on the dash the EA reopened a new order on the same pair.

I have loaded a demo, the same brooker that You have, will compare my trades with Yours. My time in tradingwatch is now 17.18. Is that correct? Dont know if there are different versions/servers. Have loaded Your setfiles, use a standard $10000 demo account, not racor. If You use a racor demo account and have other time, let me know.

Same as me, thanks. For real trading i Use a account with commission, but will be fun to compare my trades with yors, same brooker and account.
