Your charts are wrong. The spread is wrong. You did not apply the right SAR, and wrong broker. You need to go back to page one and set up your charts correctly

Hi,

Dana talks about windows version 1709.
You probably talk about MT4 version 1090. The latest version of MT4 is 1090.

Regarding your charts, it looks like you are missing the indicators, but hard to say without more information.
Maybe try to reinstall everything?

My guess would be he had not follow the instructions correctly. He has been a member since 2008 so he should know how to do it. Windows is not the problem.

Go to the paper clip on the top bar - click it and on the third entry is the Pardox_H4.zip template from the top; download it and install in your template folder. Bring up a new chart and timeframe it H4 and install the template.

I've resetup the mt4(version 950 ) and reintall the SAR , change broker to Forex.com. I wish everything is correct now. Now the H2 chart as below

OK - now that you have your system right let's go through your plan and entry. First - you do not trade live until you are 80% with the 40/40 rule on all your trades. Your trading plan was excellent. On entry you post your H2 chart with the ENTRY showing. Do not anticipate but learn to trade in the moment with an entry on a new bar. With your entry you include the rule(s) for your entry. If you trade the trend you will never lose. After the trade is completed you then do a self-evaluation on your trade for both winners and losers.

Other than you you are off on a good start.

One bar too many. 40 spread with 39 showing. This is on all charts as to keep your Fibos honest. Other than that - everything else is correct.

Final Notes :
trend : Consolidation

Daily and H4 is up trend. In H2 chart, purple cross white, if EMA is cross purple, it come to consolidation, there should be oppportunity to short entry, but consider H4, the 4 horsemen up, it's high risk to short for 40 pips, for short, I have to make sure the parabolic flip and it has more 40pips to be safe . but if EMA slide with purple, It would back to uptrend, and also H1 is uptrend, then I'll go long.


Projected Entry :
Short ： EMA cross purple, and parabolic flips. entry at resistent.
long : EMA slide with purple, back to uptrend. entry at support .

rule :

  1. short entry, must have more than 40 pips. that's trade from top to bottom.
  2. patient to confirm EMA slide or reverse
  3. 40/40 loss or profit
  4. do not entry from the middle in consolidation

self review : not entry

I miss some point.
1. The daily open bar below the white, it would be possible turn to ranging mode. In consolidation , the DB/SAR is better indicatior. The best entry is when SAR attach at fibo 61.8, and that moment In H1 is ROMAR support .

2. When EMA slide with purple, at taht moment, it's too late for me.

Your biggest problem is looking both ways for an entry which is a total distraction. On your trading plan you want to see the trend and focus totally on the trend for an entry. In this scenario the trend is up and your focus should also be with the uptrend for an entry from support. Looking at the H4 and H1 you would had seen your entry going long for a higher/high off support in the uptrend cycle.

You also have to remember in consolidation and ranging it is then about support and resistance.

for newcomers, please read through everything.
Rules are quite a few, jot down everything.

Even after 5mths i cannot remember every rules by head. i just write on Word & read everything every morning with coffee, before i look at charts.

For example:
Today 10:00 candle: Rule - Always catch EMA cross purple within ROMAR trend,
i already had a SAR trade running but too good an opporunity to be missed.
Eventhough it was at risk near top fibo & looking back i never see market pass 135. i still took the trade. only 2 candles to TP.

i hope longevity is given to Mr Dove. for the world needs more good men.
