That's a nice hold on AU, great exits. I'd be cautious of shorting just yet until we take out the H4 demand we're in (and the sneaky m30 zone a couple of pips below).

UJ looks spot on to me. Looking at all HTF this could be a decent runner to take out the highs. Main concern would be DX going the opposite direction.

Basically we got a rejection off H4 demand just before weekend (that was probably the best RR entry)

I entered after H1 very nice engulfing PA (see yellow box) on the pullback after midzone supply was cleared away.

Notice how this then became a demand zone to get a SL behind.

Been buying EU which was a bit risky if looking at this M15 chart alone. Now hitting upper supply on LTF.

Yeah, it is confusing but they'll surely sync back together again at some point.

EU buys were just going along with H4 PA and DX zones. Looks good on the Daily as well if we can get out of this range.

H4 had engulfed the other way and new demand formed when I got to the charts. It's very subtle PA that I'm pretty familiar with and can wrong foot a lot of people.

We're not out of the woods yet but will stick with it. Wouldn't want to see much retrace here.

NY close D1 and H4, notice the PA within the yellow box on H4 chart.

It's one for the toolbox and why you really want H4 in view at all times and a regular glance at daily.

Those LTF zones can stitch you up if you're out of sync with HTF.

do you usually wait for a recent zone to be printed or once you so engulfing on HTF you looked for a LTF entry?

I didnt short AU as of yet. I am waiting for the price come where i want it to be. ATM i am just waiting and watching.

Yes but you don't need to wait for the indi to print the zone. In this case just took the H4 PA and got the stop below H4 PA.

I'm aware we are now in M30/M15 supply but there's nothing on H4 to suggest shorting it (at this time).

can you explain the engulfing pa in the yellow box please C ? I can’t see anything being engulfed there. Have a good Xmas mate. Jim

It's quite hard to articulate this but will try.

Notice the pin bar rejection off the H4 supply. If this bear PA was valid, why would price reverse like this and actually form a fresh demand?

This PA used to piss me off until I eventually realised I can actually trade it and get a really nice trend entry. (ie - stop behind the new zone).

The last time I saw EU make this sort of PA, it ended up making a really good move (although it may not do the same). Quite a few examples in this thread on this PA and how it can be played. You wont see in the textbooks.

one more question about the forming engulfing candles

did you allowed yourself to look for longs on the beginning of the second red arrow bar or after the end of that bar?

Yep, nicely done. A top down approach without with all the unnecessary added acronyms some might use.

You eventually wont need as much detailed analysis on each time-frame, but it's good to do it exactly like this in the learning phase.
