Hi,

Today I have grabbed 24 pips from trading counter trend.

H4: The trend was down

H1: CCI was below -100. When fractal appeared I switched to M15

M15: CCI was below -100. I went LONG when the slope changed to blue and trended upward and confirmed by MACD>0, Stoch was trending up and AO was below zero and increased its momentum.

[email protected], [email protected] and TP=+24 pips Rvalue =1.3

Hi,

Today I 've just exited my trade with BE from trading counter trend before US new releases @ 8:30 am ET.

H4: The trend was down

H1: CCI was below -100. When fractal appeared I switched to M15

M15: CCI was below -100. I went LONG when the slope changed to blue and trended upward and confirmed by MACD>0, Stoch was trending up and AO was below zero and increased its momentum.

Hi,

There is a set up to go LONG counter trend on GBPUSD. But I did not enter a trade because it was close to the US new releases at 8:15 am ET.

H4: The trend was down.

H1: CCI was below -100. The fractal appeared then I switched to M15

M15: CCI was below -100. The slope changed to blue and was trending up, Macd > 0, Stochastic was trending up and AO was below the zero then increased its momentum. The signal was valid. Because of the major US new releases 8:15 am ET the signal was cancelled.

Hi,

This week I took 5 trades and all are winners.

Today I closed my fifth trade of the week with +23 pips from the counter trend trade.

H4: The trend was up

H1: There was a negative divergence and CCI was above 100

M15: Entered a SELL TRADE according to the rules.

[email protected], [email protected], TP=+23 pips, Rvalue=0.92

I've just closed my trade with +16 pips by mistake. I want to extend the TP a little bit longer. But I double clicked on order then the trade exited.

But it is ok. Today is Monday. The week is just started with less news.

Happy new year and as usual pls keep your thread alive.

As I am time poor and at times I do not have the patience you have to watch the charts.

I am thinking of writing an EA based on your rules.

So to clarify

H4 must be all red or all blue on the attached indicator and the bar must be complete ...

When the next 4H bar is forming you have
4 x 1 Hour bars to monitor the CCI inducator to monitor.

Within the 4 hours if the CCI indicatot is -100/+100 you would then

Switch to 15 minute indicator following your rules to take the trade.

So far am I 80% correct

I installed the EA on a demo account in mid November 2017. To date, it is up over 19%. I tried another account and changed the stop loss and targets to tighter limits but it has not done as well.

Which pairs are you trading? Only GBPUSD? If so, i think 19% are ok!?

i backtested some different settings, but the settings from sriloba works at best.

sriloba add some other trigger to trade, but these are not yet implemented in the EA. Only till Post 66!

if there is interest, I could also extend it.

where is @Sriloba at the moment!??

Hi guys,

Sriloba uses H4 to determine the trend.

Up trend = 5/10 ema cross up and confirmed by macd > 0 + stochastic cross up
Down trend = 5/10 ema cross down and confirmed by macd < 0 + stochastic cross down

H1: Wait for retracement. Sriloba uses CCI OB/OS to identify the price pull back
Up trend: CCI must be below -100
Down trend: CCI must be above 100

Then go to M15 to enter a trade

The system is easy to understand. I will test the system on Monday.
