Month is climbing

H4 is at the bottom
I would wait for the H4 to top again and then try another short.
The H1 is at the bottom , a trade long would be in order here to ride the H4 back long before shorting it. Wait for the RSI to break out long before entering.

Heres the charts , I should have noticed the pause in price action on m15 ,the i could have gotten in on this move too

Iam already in on gj , should i get out of the position?? Iam not seeing any long soon expect a pause because of 8 sto topping on 4h ..Is my analysis wrong? The first chart is EA

i just want to talk a little bit about the repainting nature of DDS indicator
all of us know that its repainting & this issue was discussed many times in this thread
here is just a sample :

yesterday morning i decided to take some screen shots & see how DDS works at real time
i opened the M15 chart for many pairs , then i applied 2 versions of DDS_MTF indicator with 2 different parameters

the first is H1 (which is based on M15).....in blue color
the second is H1 (i think its normally derived from H1 chart)....in red color

i have found some repainting like this

note that:
-many pairs didn't show repainting
-if we make some tests on DDS of volatile time frames (such as M1 & M5).., we may find more aggressive repaints

now i have some questions:
1-is it possible to code a non-repainting DDS (even it becomes more lagging & less accurate) ,
or its impossible due to the original mathematical formula ?
2-does repainting considered as a small issue that should be neglected ?
3-how professional traders deal with this issue ?
4-does it makes the back testing unreliable ?, because in back testing we only see the perfect picture that was not present at that real time

finally, i don't anyone to misunderstand me
i`m not here to criticize the system . actually , i believe that mr.alein is a GOD gift to the humanity
i just have some painful memories about the word repaint)

When current TF display changes later, you call it repainting (recalculating) indicator. However, changing the higher TF display at lower TF charts is normal behavior. (For example, at 5M chart, 60M MTF indicator can change until 60M bar closes. That's normal.) That's why backtesing with MTF indicators is not very good idea. For backtesing purposes, people devised some non-repainting MTF versions (see an example here) without steps (and therefore looks very choppy). I think it's also applicable to DDS. I suggest you focus on steps in higher TFs with recent charts to read it's strength and momentum, and do not attempt backtesting using too old charts. As far as I know, the original DDS indicator Master Alien posted was slightly repainting but that doesn't affect the performance anyway.... You don't need to worry about it.

DDS repaints ... that's a fact and has been discussed since the beginning of this thread few years back.

It has proved us to be extremely reliable in real time so there's definitely no point to modify it.

Of course, backtesting (looking back on chart) isn't accurate but give you a quite nice global picture. If you really want to backtest it accuratly (not the MTF), just run it in the backtester visual mode.
