I am short with USDCAD
Good to know that we're on the same page (aspiring trader v full timer ?) this actually gave me a boost of confidence.

I was afraid that I came in a little too early.
USDCAD pairs usually do not become active until Frankfurt or London open.

Btw I don't trade your system but I do like to look at 4h and daily before opening up a trade on 1h, I hope you don't mind me spamming your thread with my screenshots

I also liked AUDUSD long,

I was looking at it this morning seemed to have found a bottom.

But as for the long signal itself, I would have wanted a long tailed candle pushing upwards right below 20ema. That didn't happen, 4h and daily do not look like they're ready to go up just yet. I don't know we'll see. I suspect AUDUSD might come back down.

Hi Everyone,

I have some trouble using mtf dds indicator. The indicator loads, but without the dds, i have downloaded several dds indicators, thinking that the mtf version needs a 'base' indicator.

my logic says if i draw channel perfectly the abnormal patterns like flags, rising wedge, double bottom and other = dosent exist (lack of channel drawing is reason behind flags like drawing) ... and on oscillator there needs to be 4 zone (20 to 25 and 80 to 75 shift due to symmetry )
0-25 = short active trend for that tf
25-50 = short to ranging short trend (in this situation other lower tf situation could help in decision)
50-75 = long to ranging (in this situation other lower tf situation could help in decision)
75-100 = long active trend on that tf

the more i m learning it the more i m loving it

mostly does not obey small TF TA. but can retrace till 3.8580-3.88xx.. correction targer is 3,6xxx around.

I agree this pair can be very volatile, but Alien Evo system applies nonetheless. There is some higher TF support for the retrace too. We will see what happens.

Alien does not follow patterns much, some flags and triangles perk up my interest after a large drop or climb in price..............

It hit your SL, what next? I see that all will you wait for it to bottom again before buying back?

I am turkish then I know this pair very well...hard to obtain excact point SL TP or to enter position. Only one thing is useful, long or mid term where it should be according to long trend then seek in to weekly chart and try it. long position has huge minus swap. short has huge positive swap. but 3000 pip to go in two weeks is normal when it begin to act. I do not try any long position usless it is around 3.60. it is worse than years ago GJ or EJ. but long term positions are welcome.

I entered at 3.8288 as you can see from my post. Price fell then rose to 3.8375. I closed the trade at 3.8320 when M5 TF turned short again.

My entry was acceptable for a small move, but it was too early to catch the larger move, as H1 & H4 had not finished bottoming.

EDIT: I see the H1 DDS now seems to be crossing up from the bottom - I will not enter now that London session has ended as spreads on this pair can get very high and also price usually does not move well outside of London session on this pair.

Last 3 4H candle are doji.possiblle to hit 3.86-3.88 before Fed. Also possible top drop 3.78 in seconds. Aşiyan session till europe opening generally slow actions but high spreads ip to broker 200 pips spreads is even possible. Therefore even it will go long hard to arrange minus swap and large spreads.

Thanks for the clarification. I followed it and I saw that it made a new low and then turned back for a larger move up.

I think it was also possible to do it Alien's style i.e. fading tops and bottoms.

Put a small trade, let say 0.1 lots on your first trade. Then keep it, it will retrace and make a new low, when making a new low you take a larger lot size say 0.2 or 0.3.

Then you close both trades once it goes up for the larger move.

Yes I would wait for the M5 to cross the M15 to confirm.

Remember we are wave riding waves and the waves are always changing...................

Use an RSI to go positive would be more confirmation..............

THe M5 never crossed the M15 and higher TF's were falling.................

Also RSI was negative....................

When you get that M5 hook back downward, that is normally confirmation of a PA change...............Take it!
