No the news setting was on "false". On OrderTS1 i understood as you confirmed ...Anyway thanks, i still do not know why ...i will do some more experiment to understand why.

Sometimes, Yep especially NFP and FOMC. Only on relevant pairs not across the board and it would be optional.

How are you deciding to take profits on these moves? Is it according to a specific system rule or do you have external rules for closing in profit?

Ok well you are offcourse free to do this manually, but this is why we have a stoploss. To me a trade ends in a stop loss, or in profit. Never because i closed it out of fear ;-)

this's ea auto trading and manual trade showing you can code it?
i want to manual trading my resuilt showing and other pair signal alert...
not like use auto trading...can you code one more step add manual trade and auto trading?

If you don't want to trade on auto, you can use the dashboard for manual trading.

Set "allowtrading" = false

Set "sendalerts" = true

Now the dash won't auto trade and when there is a new signal you will get an alert to trade manually.

Hi mrdfx

After reading the opening page I didn't notice any profit taking guidance. I have used the EA today with a lot of success (so thank you for your hard work and share) however since it is early days I am not sure if it is best to leave the position to run it's course (which I guess would be an opposing entry) or whether it is best to set a fixed profit target. Of course answers to these questions will emerge after I've tested the EA for longer but I wonder if you could provide me with guidance from your experience, it would be greatly appreciated.


Ignore the above just located: "Setting the TP & SL levels is a personal choice. For me if I do set a SL, I would normally set my SL at the previous high or low, and I also pay attention to price action. The TP can be a fixed target (50-100 pips) or either using Fibonacci retractment, or when there is the next confirmed signal to get maximum pips. I will monitor price action most of the time, and get out if I see the trend is changing and a new reversal forming."


PS. Opting to use Andrews Pitchfork on the 1 hour to select TP.

i am getting crazy
the system go in TP after 13-15 pips, i do not why....
using this setting:
i have news->false
stoplossatzigzag->false

The hiddenSL works fine the problem is on TP

You have the dashboard set to trade on auto not manual. Set yours to the same as this for manual trading.

You are doing a great job. Keep it up.

A stop-loss is of no value if the NFP/FOMC makes price gap 50 to 75 pips past it, this would throw most money management rules out of the window; so it is not fear but rather risk management. However, like you wrote I can simply close the trades manually.

13 trades and 61% winners (2 of the trades got fired off when I accidently changed the chart from 1 hour to daily and were closed quickly for a small loss). Not a bad start!!! PF 1.5
