It was just to test something out but it's the same thing with every type of order. Anyone know if I could have a hacker or something? Seriously weird. When I was demoing with Tradovate, the order filled sound mysteriously changed as well... Someone seems to be messing with me. Hrmm.

I was focused today, but still missed a couple of trades. I saw them just seconds too late.

I can't make buy stop orders at all? And when I open up my platform, a few times there has been an order already placed even though I hadn't opened anything the whole day.

Nice day Harold. If I can ask. Can you please explain the poke bar? And do you have any set rules to determine a 2B? Just after the initial 5 minutes today, we got a lower low by 8 ticks. I read it as a lower low and was looking short and thus missed the long. You read it as a 2B and took the nice long. Thank you.

a poke is found at a level when its going int ot opposite direction a 2b is a break lower then the place where it made its LH gets broken is a 2b break if it doesn't break usually it forms a 123 pattern which makes the whole pattern a head and shoulders

It might look confusing cos i've labelled it all. But i will always be wary of pullbacks after a slight fresh low (short) or vica versa, after a previous strong move. It is likely to be wave 3&5 ends of a particular degree, thus they will usually correct more deeply than the prior subwave ones. Notice how similar they are (red circles). Both retraces are much deeper, all the way back to their respective prior Supply zones. Note how all impulse waves (main trend) have 5 subwaves.

Not always, as there are a multitude of alternative patterns, but the 2B is the first heads up that PA has lost some steam, at least for a bit. It now needs to go and find some sellers again...

Yes, i'm talking EW, but it's exactly the same principles, just also using it to keep myself out of trouble as much as possible, (which is practically as big a part of the equation as actually taking the good trades!)

I'm actually finding purely from more experience of watching, demo-ing etc that slowly i'm eradicating mistakes or risky trades that i used to take. I usually manage to get at least a couple of decent winners in a session, but i'm also learning to run them a little more, if poss and then by making less mistakes, it's getting better.

There always seems to be fresh opportunities and money movement at the end of the day on the NQ, just like today and Friday. If the morning doesn't go well, check out the last 1.5 hours.

I agree! I've come to the conclusion that it can be traded at anytime! Just a case of adjusting the tick rate to suit the current volume and away you go. There are often more 123, trigger and retraces during corrective moves, but they will, of course generally be smaller targets;
