I don't know if I can do it, though. If I can fill cheap spreads, the r:r is so much better...this SPY $265 Dec15/Dec20 call calendar wants a penny (maybe 3c) to net back a little over $2? What's wrong with that? Dec15 atm calls today set ya back $1.75....do you think Santa will bring another 50 points in the spoos? If you ride a trend safely into the long call week and SPY goes over $265, your 3c could pay $3.50 or better......100bags for Xmas.....nice.

this is true....its funny, that in the end, after all the crap, we could have just bought S&P's when we started out, and just kept buying...when I got in the business we where at 250/260...

No, I dint get any crypto but I am watching the futures, that promises to be a fun market when it gets going

I hear some noise about the Dec FOMC holding back on the ffr hike - that could move things if they do, otherwise I'd have to bet on a steady grind up Santa rally for the indices. I am shopping SPY calendars and diagonals 2-3 weeks out. Mostly sitting on a molehill of dry powder...

I filled a SPY calendar similar to one shown above - Dec15/20 $264 calls for 3c. Less than $5 above and that is what SPY has gained in the last week....

zzzzz weekly trending indices catching the uptick with SPY call calendars, getting in about 2-3 weeks out, trying not to pay more than a nickel. I am in SPY Dec15/20 calendar calls @ $264, $266, and $267 for 3c, 2c, and 4c. A little somthin downside I have SPY $257/$256 bull vert puts for 12c. I am shopping time spreads for Q1 earnings, just 6 weeks out now.

all those SPY call calendars prolly too low, Dec25 2 weeks out and the spoos can rally straight til Xmas, have to bet SPY $270-$275 to close the year

we get a close about 13.27ish in the VIX, and maybe we see something more substantial...wish full thinking, perhaps, but something to keep an eye on....Fool, hope you've been well bro...
