Hello fellow traders, Can you provide your valuable comments on the detailed statement - trades are taken using Price Action strategy on higher time frames. Also attached is a screenshot of the latest trades taken in the account (not closedyet).

I don't know why, I still use his stuff! Maybe the daily time frame puts most people off; yet they read j16 and post without a clue about anything.

It really has come along in the last few months, the tools have improved so much, gives great signals IMHO

Disclaimer for silly questions, I'm new to forex factory, new to forex in general, about 2 months into demo. Results are mixed bag.

I would like to learn PA, I've had a crack learning, pin bars, inside bars, 2 bar reversal, outside bars. I feel what I'm lacking is judgement.

Could somebody please help me dissect some trades i have recently taken:

Trade 1:
On the XAUUSD, my logic was as follows:

a) Up Trend - only looking for long entry signals
b) Insider Bar had formed

Traded a buy stop - which then quickly reversed lower.

In hindsight - i can see a congestion area which could be a resistance for this move.

Is this something people would have traded?

The 2 lines are EMA 10 and 20.
Stop Loss Below - IB close
I have taken a optimistic TP - i'll watch this carefully.

Trade 2:
On the USDJPY, my logic was as follows:

a) Down Trend - only looking for short entry signals - i determined it as follows:
* EMA 10 was below EMA 20
* Previous Candle Had Closed below EMA 10

b) Insider Bar had formed
c) Previous Candle was a Bearish Rejection Candle of EMA 20 and 10
d) A lower high had been created

Traded a sell stop on the low of the IB which then quickly reversed higher and ended up being what looks like a indecision candle.

Is this something that you would have traded?
