I can not see any difference in terms of performance, but then I don't have a dozen charts running at once. the only difference for me is the GUI, but again, I don't change Bar types all the time, and both are easy to change from 5 to 3 pip Renko.
RCS is an Expert so can only have one instance on the M1 chart so we need to have multiple M1s open for multiple instruments, STG is an indicator so we can have multiple instances off just one M1 chart for multiple instruments that makes STG the best one if you want multiple instruments, if you don't then it is either or.

I am happy to contribute in any way :-) , even though the code is not mine. It seems to be working better than pimped expert i have been using. It seems less resource hungry and it sticks to the chart when you are changing profiles. For instance, with pimped you change profile, ( i have profiles for several pairs that i watch) and once you load the profile, 10 pip and 3 pip load normally, but 5 pip expert is removed from 1 min chart. (example). I dont know why this happens but it does.
I am happy with the indicator as it does most of what OVO does, but is free and rather flexible.

Any people here really making money by using renko chart? I have back tested many renko based strategy, and no luck. Even before back-testing it looks highly profitable. The system failed in narrow movement market, Which generate huge loss and can't be recovered by the mid or large movement days in the long run.

Renko chart seems to be easier to read, but it ignored the time factor. As a day trader, the speed of movement is a big hint to predict the market... so I still doubt anybody really success?

I initially had a problem getting MT4 to work but that turned out to be because the Wine version in the Ubuntu repository was so old. I could not get it to work with Playonlinux either, so I installed the latest Wine version and have kept that up to date I am now on Wine 2.21 and MT4 has worked perfectly without any problems.
I think the Linux version you are using has a big effect on how MT4 works in Wine.
I am on Linux Mint 17.1 which works perfectly on my older Laptop, every thing worked right out of the box. What I have noticed is that those who said they were having problems were using the latest versions of Linux, which normally makes sense, however this sometimes, often times causes problems because the drivers in the latest versions of Linux are for the latest hardware.

Failing that I have Oracle VM virtual Box setup running Win 7 with MT4 as a back up.

What you are saying applies to any strategy, any bar type and any time frame. Every system "Fails" in narrow range markets! The only method that stands even the remotest chance is a manual Price Action method and then even that is highly dependant on the traders experience rather than the method!

Thank you for your reply and you are right. I am a programmer and I've tried over 100 mechanical ea in MT4, some of them perform well in back-testing, but only few of them can make profit in real market situation. The one can break even in long run is a huge success.

The trader's experience is the only way to success at this moment and which is so hard to programme. Maybe the AI trading could success in future, I don't know! What I am quite sure is that mechanical way never success in long run.

Yep, never seen anything mechanical that would be profitable in the long run and I have tried quite a few approaches. Most promising for me were grids, but ultimately the market always finds a way to screw you over. :-)

My last trade for today.
3 brick renko, correct short entry, BRN 13000 don't hold and price went down.
Totally wrong exit, dax falls till 161.8 fibo's extension, but was friday late afternoon and so i prefer cash my 25 pips.

My entry was after the Trendline break and pull back forming 123 pattern.
My TP was @ convergence of BRN and 50%fibos of down movement starded friday till this morning.

My entry was @ the close of second bullish bar. Stoch & Macd ok, only ema200 (on renko 10) but 20 pips ahead on our way.
My tp was at confluence of Daily Pivot + 168.8 fibo + weekly POC.
