Im a latency trader or at least was.

It doesnt work any more. Unfortunately once you find a broker the software providers join in and you are finished within days or a week if you are lucky.

Yes, it is not very easy way to make money but if you learn about arbitrage and understand how to trade arbitrage, you will never use other strategies :-) Because arbitrage is low risk and high profit. To be able to withdrawal money you need to use right arbitrage methods. The symbols to trade: dax, gbpusd, exotic currencies, oil

Here I will explain why current EA does not work. And ask me if you doubt;

1. MT4 has a flaw system that pass through order to A-Book, and B-Book, so it let them plug-in spread to your fast order
2. by fast order, Window Operating System that you use has operating lag time of 25-30 ms, so your fast quote delayed by at least 25 ms from the system
3. Broker execute "fast plug-in" to your fast order because your lag time between broker is very small
4. Many times they do not allow trader to withdraw money earned from fast execution
bottom line: current technology make latency arbitrage impossible, so use the next generation technology, and quit finding about the old ones, it's impossible.

If this works, the seller of this software is really the extreme opposite of being smart. Yet, they are not stupid.

Sincerely,
IG seems like a reputable company, but it is not.

This Thread is really interesting for me and I'm also love latency arbitrage EA. I have my own Latency Arbitrage EA, It can work with 2 MT4 Platforms. The most unique functions is EA will not close order with 0 second or 1 second then you cant be detected by broker for scalping or arbitrage. There are still a broker who allow arbitrage method and withdrawl is also allow. All latency trader are searching this broker and haven't seen yet. When they found and they are disappear from the forum and he do arbitrage behind the world.

Latency arbitrage does work but in my experience not for long. One broker found me out after about a week and then slowed my trades down negating any arbitrage. The real problem is MT4 because it's specifically designed for brokers and they have the ability to play around with your trades if they suspect you're taking advantage or look as though you're gonna beat them longterm. Don't forget most brokers trade against you.
He was looking for the card so high and wild hed never need to deal another

It depends on the type of arbitrage. Most good ECN Brokers allow all strategies (scalping, hedging, arbing) since they're not trying to get in the way of your trading however latency arbitrage usually pisses off the LP's which then complain to the brokers..

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers,
Piplife
