Disliked9 consecutive months of "losing" During this period I have traded from 1m chart to weekly, DAX to EURCAD and even gold. I wasn't settled on a specific method up until the month of Oct, same month where my losses started to show some signs of slowing down. I think it's reasonable to assume that after settling on a specific method and not going after every scenario have had a positive impact on my performance and it shows by the numbers. But again that's not to say it's good enough. By all means it's not an excuse. So here we are, it's Nov thus far...Ignored
You DONT have 9 consecutive losing months!!!
Maybe you wish...but you are really only on the 5th one...
To change as I see you need 2 basic conditions:
1. Realise that you need to change something
2. A strong will power to actually and really go thru with it, and implement some major changes.
Not sure what u did trading is all the result of doing the same thing over and over, nor a result of jumping on different ideas and systems.
If the first, it is an easier matter to fix, just drop what not working, and start to build up something new, that might. Only might, as there is no guaranteed, even though some like to claim.
If the second, then it is trickier. Possible mean that you don't spend enough time on one idea to give it time to make work, and jumping from one approach to another, or you just have the "talent" to pick out some bad approach, maybe there is a common aspect in them that appeal for you when u choose.
In the 10th month, and about -400$ in the hole, nothing really lost. Most basic education cost lot more, for a few days course.
And I am sure you learnt a lot in the past 10 months!!
For one, you already see few things that don't work. A major step.
there is always, always another trade!!
