GU and GJ
Bearish/Bullish Volumes.
According to chart next week is bullish, let's see if the week is consistent with chart or not.

GJ is inside UHV area, but GU closed day and week below UHV bar, so there is a little difference in both, but I expect both to behave same when they start a strong move.

all gbp pairs are lookin that way.. whoever I would be careful especially with GU because there was a decent amount of selling at nfp on friday imho

Both can be a loser or never hit entry.

im watching UJ atm, price is testing the top of nfp bar, there was some previous buying at this area but we had some selling recently (last bar marked).. possible long setup coming I think

Gold can give some setups today as well

hi huys

So gold nasdaq, uj ej gj gu all long?? wow markets dont balance them selfs uj and gold they cant be both buying for too long that is called unefficency on the market, uj and gu normally go opposite they dont very ogten tag along, its another unefficiency , just exploit these unenficiencies and make money from them.

right. from daily or weekly perspective.
But this inefficiency is observed a dozen times in intraday for 20-25 pips moves.
I have made same direction trades when SM is in play and made pips in EU UJ and GOLD

You can see UJ and EJ and EU are forced to move or stay down while GJ didnt join yen neither it joined GU SM within GJ seems to do some accumulation in this area of 149 to 149.75.

Check daily Volumes for GOLD.
potential short with targets around 1257, of course after confirmations.

and when trading forex is important to keep in mind that we are always dealing with two currency (base and quote) and sometimes I have noticed that one of them lead the moviment of price, so for example if gbp is being bought and jpy is being sold we can actually have a possible setup to buy GU (selling dolar) and buy UJ (buying dolar)

However correlations are very important, i'm actually reading a book on the subject called "A Three Dimensional Approach To Forex Trading", worth the read imho

yes it is,

I have seen EJ UJ and GJ moving same tick by tick for an hour.
then I have seen EJ UJ moving totally opposite.
Correlation in fact works, but then you have SM and other factors, Like sometimes its strength or weakness of base and sometimes of the quote. I think in long term we can draw a good correlation chart. But in intraday it cant be right always.

One more interesting thing i have noticed but not sure about it. In M1 TF, when SM plays on lets say POUND they do play on all pairs same, i don't know how strength of one pair in majors impact others if nothing is happening in other pairs.
GU moved 25 pips in 1 minute by SM, can CAD get weaker without any transaction on it ? so GU moved 25 pips GJ moved 35 pips and GC moves 35 as well.
I want to know if SM plays on all pairs or only one, and if it is one how can it influence all other pairs,,,,

I think it depends on the order size.. if the order is too big they probably gonna play in multiple pairs due to liquidity and to avoid moving the price against their own order. The book (A Three Dimensional Approach To Forex Trading) that im reading talks about it, I took a print attached below

About the second question I think only buying and selling moves the price, so for example if SM are buying US against all the pairs except Pound for example, GU will not be influenced, however this may arouse the interest of others SM who can join the party because in their view GU is now "undervalued" so they start buying US against the pound.. so thats good to keep an eye at the overall currency and at the chart that you are trading I think

yep.

but thats on demo account, i mentioned in thread when i took that trade.
still lil bit skeptic about crypto's
although all currencies are fake but at least countries own them and guarantee a value against that paper.
