yeah I've heard that. although it sounds like a gray area in terms of what you can get away with.

anyway, +9, +1 on a pullback short from 70.50 Im thinking it prob wants to get back down to the high volume area around 65. but sitting on top of the zone for so long maybe it just blows thru

it is a gray area that why they do it I never look at it I haven't found any info looking at it but I am sure it has info I aint that smart

I did the market delta edge program last year and its very heavily DOM focused. but my main take away from that is just as applicable to trading candles as it is the DOM

I meant that even though the course was heavily DOM focused, the main lesson that I learned was a general market principle. ie. looking for compression points where volume is building up and a breakout trade could be caught. just like your hook trades really, same idea. the instructor would call it "the ice before the cliff" each group trying to slide the other group off the edge

it sounds so basic its almost dumb now that im writing it lol, but I never took breakouts until I started understanding that
