I did chat with them last night, sand and received e-mail and PM but they still say same things. Now I want to clarify that " XM offer variable spreads with the lower lock at 1.9 but it can as high as the market goes at any given time".
I need to clear this one.

Dear priceaction1,

The lowest spread you would typically see on a Micro/Standard account at XM is 1.0 pips - 1.1 pips and the average is 1.7-1.8 pips.

Dear priceaction1,

The upper limit would be whatever the interbank market rate is (plus a markup which is XM's profit margin).

So to explain this even better on our platforms XM reflects the spreads we receive from the Interbank Market (Via our Liquidity Providers) and we add a fixed markup which is our profit.

Thank you very much, XM for clarification. It was the long journey with XM since DEC 2012 but now it is time to go. I get best services from XM before yesterday, but I think I was not treated fairly whatever reason cause this I have to go.

Although it is your right to trade with the brokerage that makes you feel comfortable, since I personally was the one that checked your trades one by one together with the MT4 Technicians to be quite honest I still cannot understand what it is that has made you unhappy.

Why all decent brokers change server's time when DST in Europe ends and XM doesn't?


You people up there don't understand that you create one extra unnecessary bad 1 hour Sunday day on the chart, which spoils the work of all technical indicators?


How hard is it to just shift the server's clock 1 hour ahead without creating any discomfort?

Your statement above is 101% NOT correct.

To make this is easy as possible for you to understand:

When the end of DST takes place in Europe there is a shifting of sessions for 1 hour since in the US end of DST occurs 1 week later.

Therefore if we did not open trading one hour earlier last night it would be clearly like HIDING trading from our clients for 1 hour.

So if we were to follow your request it would be like cheating for 1 hour and not allowing clients to trade.

To quote your wording “Any decent broker” what you should understand is that in reality “any decent broker would follow the exact pattern XM follows and would open trading 1 hour earlier until DST happens in the US next week”.

Now to summarize: From what I understand your main trouble here is that the settings of your EA’s and Indicators gets distracted but you should understand that you should really get into the habit of adjusting them as adapting to this change is the correct practice.

Not following the pattern XM follows is actually the wrong way to do business.

My only mistake was that all decent brokers didn't shift the time at all. It was and is UTC +3.


Now re the stupidity you wrote above:

for Frankfurt and London sessions. So why the hell XM shifted it's server time if the Sydney open time remained the same? All this Europe DST ending thing has nothing to do with Sydney and US sessions, hence the open and close time are the same for them for this week!!!

Did you ever open this page??? Try it now and set the clock in the top to GMT +3, as all decent brokers do, you will see the following picture:

Maybe now you will get it why all decent brokers have GMT +3 at servers time? Here is the tip for you: the trading week has 5 full day candles, all of them start and end at 00:00!

HIDING trading from our clients for 1 hour ---- Do you have any idea that forex market opens with Sydney session? Not Fr, London, US or whatever?


Are you able to compare two charts by candles? The 1st one is XM's chart and the 2nd one is the chart form a decent broker:

You gave me utterly stupid and wrong reasons with the same conclusions out of them re the way XM does the things during the time DST ends worldwide.

Register a demo account with GlobalPrime, watch it and learn it.


XM should change the way it does business, not the other way around, and don't try to prove me the opposite with false reasons.
