On the 2hr the market hit the BB, and what is the rule when the market hits the BB, especially on a downtrend? The market will move sideways (at some point) and you will get an entry at White. I always wait until the market gets to Smooth, which is usually just about the same level as a White entry by the time the market has moved sidewards some more.

So knowing that rule would not only stop you doing something silly (like going long) but would also have you alert and picking your spot for the short. It can be difficult getting on a move down, but this scenario is probably the easiest one of all.

Thank you Shaun for pointing out the entry and you are very right.

Now let'e talk about what else they all missed which is the ROMAR sync.. H1 ROMAR crossed EMA before the Double Bottom, H2 at Purple heading for EMA at the Double Bottom; before everyone's entry going long the H2 ROMAR had crossed EMA. AT entry the H4 at Purple and is now at EMA for the crossing. That target is the Daily ROMAR. The trend is down and everyone goes long.

What amazes me is when the first trader goes long or short everyone else follow that first trader's entry. I wonder why. Maybe now you traders will try to find your own trade and not follow everyone else. The rules are being broken left and right for the entries and that is the major reason for losing. The H1, the H2, and the H4 are all in the downtrend; and not one of you that pulled the trigger going long had seen the actual trend.

I believe for EUR daylight saving time shifts back one hour this Sunday. Next Sunday is for the USD. This will place the Sessions on the correct time for 17:00.

What I would always do everyday is to look on romar ema. Did ema cross romar? what about ema, did it cross purple? does romar ema is in sync? I would always start from there/ what the indicator is doin "In the moment".

the 2 hr chart is the trend chart, everything that happened going short is on the page 2 of this page. all you guys need to do is to study study study. believe it or not, its too many times i re read and study the paradox from page 1- 500. I never asked anyone a question. but If I needed to know something, I would go study this page over and over again and some pdf attachment that has been posted in here and I would pay attention and grasp shinny hendo and dove's posting they are exceptional traders. The paradox is all I need to be successful in the forex market. If I have to do it over and over again to go back from page 1- 585 I would do it without hesitation If I have to. Every success you have or don’t have depends on you.

Eval: For the multitude of reasons given here, this was a suboptimal trade. Since we were in consolidation, I should have waited for purple to cross EMA before thinking a long was there, as there was not yet a reversal. Also, purple never crossed smooth to go long. And on the H1 there was no parabolic flip and opening above EMA- if I waited for these things I wouldn't have entered long ever because these events never ended up happening. Also I should have expected the market to proceed sideways after hitting the lower BB several times, instead of thinking the market hit its bottom. Based on the D1 per my plan I thought long term the trend was down, just didn't know when. I misinterpreted the H2 and H1. I should have seen that the picture was down on D1, with H1 and H2 down as well since they had not yet reversed the already existing trend down. That there would likely be a period of sideways trading before the opening for the short became apparent with white crossing. Perhaps during the sideways movement there could have eventually been an entry for the long given enough time (with H2 purple/EMA crossing, H1 parabolic flip with opening above EMA, etc), but there was definitely no long entry in that moment.

I hesitated posting my plan because someone posted a plan with a similar entry as mine. I did it anyways because if I don't post my plan, I would potentially not receive any feedback to correct my incorrect ways. Even though it was basic for everyone else, I just didn't see it. But ill never copy anyones entry ever. It's pointless. I'm trying as best I can to learn the the process even if I'm a dummy and should have known these rules already .

Your focus is totally wrong, Six. What is the very first rule in creating a trading plan? The answer is which way the trend is traveling. Even in consolidation - there is a trend. Once you have verify the trend then you create your trading plan accordingly with THE TREND. I just couldn't believe everyone went long with the trend SHOWING DOWN. "The trend does not end until the H2 Parabolic flips": and how many times have I made that statement?

Speaking for myself, and possibly others,I don't know, I think my problem of understanding over yesterday and today's market has been the recent in-depth (superb) explanation of DB/SAR. The light bulb for that glows dimly as if a new revelation for me to focus on - and over the last two weeks that is exactly what I did do..... noticed DB/SAR with Divergence on H2 and H4, plus a SAR attached below on the Daily at the 50.0 fibo.....my expectation was Long at 'some' stage today..

I didn't demo for the Long today, but I simply could not understand why the short was logical, and as above I believe it was the Daily SAR, similar to the one on the 26th September which did go long, that was clouding it for me.

I also think I struggle with looking to find the 'bigger picture' - a lot of demo trades I have failed I've been looking at the H1/H2 sync and not the Daily when I should have, and others (like today) I've been looking at the Daily when I should be looking at the H1/H2 sync (plus a golden rule on page 2!!!)

Just wanted to be honest and share my current failings with my fellow traders who are struggling too - I have complete faith in the Paradox and will not give up until I succeed.

I'm back and I'm not kicking myself because I've learned a new rule--which is thrilling. Somehow I missed that one. Thank you Shaun for this and all your sharing. Ditto Dana of course and everyone else today and this week. I'm so very much appreciating this community and all I'm learning.
