Can I delete all history files?

Hi guys,

something fucked up my MT4 pretty bad...The period seperators are now at the london open (9 hours later than normal), looks like something happend to the historic data in my MT4...
Can I delete all the files in the folder /history/live folder and then let MT4 load them from new?

If your broker changed his server time zone, then the new datas will be back with the same new days separator.

Hi Ferru,

I don't think my broker changed anything because with my other MT4 (Same broker, different account and different installation path) I don't have this problem.

I have now deleted for a test one instrument in the folder (EURUSDx.hst) and after a restart, EURUSD looked good again.

Now I'm wondering if I can just delete all files in the history folder at once?

Maybe not the whole folder but the history files. Then after opening a chart, the history for this chart should rebuild itself.

Metatrader sure gets up to some strange things sometimes, it has been giving me all sorts of problems recently.

I run 4 installs and this is the only one with this data, only on Daily

I deleted the history for daily and still the same, might delete all GN, got to try something

On the plus side, I can see the future

Any ideas?
