That is what i meant, only that we were in top, not in bottom and we had no real resistance for going short so closely to ROMAR and also SAR was looking way up (small red line) if judging only from the opening. Sorry for my rudeness but i want to understand.

Hi, as I'm studying, I think Chad's trade is a very good example to learn, it's the good trade that matter, he just wanted to help us.

Yesterday SAR attachment at H2 ROMAR is the entry back into trend, we're in trend, ROMAR/EMA sync on all charts and White, Smooth crossed Purple not in sequence so we had a slider. In Chad's trade, which is in consolidation, DB on top in all charts, so the objective is the bottom. Fibo fliped, White, Smooth crossed Purple in sequence, open below EMA and Smooth, Psar eliminated form support, EMA arrow and MACD arrow point down in correct order, he has so many confluences in his trade.

Your comments indicate you have not read the whole thread thoroughly. Dana has allowed Shaun and I the privilege to post other pairs to help show the power of the Paradox when used properly on all pairs.

I do this reluctantly and without ego only to help. As I don’t want to cause any confusion while you’re learning the on EJ, as I did. I’ve been where you’re at now, searching for the system to beat the market. There is a lot of garbage on Forex Factory, such as, fake traders, and fake systems, that seem to be quite great after the fact! The more I see in going my own way trading another pair, the more I realize I need to give back more. The same way Dana has selflessly put the most power trading system in the world with very detailed instruction, for the world at zero cost, with, the exception of, your time, effort, energy, and heart!

If I may give you or any aspiring professional trader any advice. Read, study, and apply every post from Dana with a particular focus on his DB / SAR tutorials. Also, every post by Shaun, he has taught me quite a lot, and is an amazing trader.

Yes Chad, sorry me for making waves here. It´s just this thread drives me crazy, at day time i am working all day thinking about supports and resistances, connecting to thread when i have free minute and at night time i am reading. There´s so much to learn and i have so little free time, i feel that i am over trying and making too much focus on details as today with ROMAR,need to chill a bit. I still did not reach the place you appeared on the thread, but hope in 2 weeks i´ll finish it. Thank you for your advices and sorry again for disrupting the peace. Also thanks Dana for supporting inpatient students as he had a lot of them...

Wow im totally red in the face, what a bad trade... many things wrong with this trade. I took a consolidated entry in a trend market... All charts in up trend (Daily in consolidated up trend).. At entry 4 horsemen full up trend on 4h,2h,1h and a strong up pointing purple on Daily with Psar under on all 4 charts.. MACD UP on ALL CHARTS! WOW

Other thoughts:
I had in my notes the EMA slider on 2h for the continuation of the up trend *but it was not in my trading plan*
Much to learn.

Well Devon - you had seen everything wrong going short after the fact. Even a trade going long was at risk being at the top. The only good thing with this trade is seeing your mistakes without excuses. So I congratulate you on your evaluation.

i been reading this thread for few days, but im still confuse with the session indicator, the question is, as long as i set the session line as the sydney market open (which is NY market close) the data i get from my chart will be fine correct?

It occurred to me that you mastered the Paradox prior to Dana sharing the H4 with us. This likely explains why the H4 wasn't mentioned in your trading plan. But not wanting to assume anything would you mind speaking to that for us. Thank you! And thank you all who give so generously!

Hello Mark,

I also use the H4. However, I only use it as a reference, as the H2 is your primary trade chart. The H2, H4, and Daily are the primary charts I use and, again as Dana has mentioned on numerous occasions the H1 is also used as a reference only.

I leave the H4 off my plan because, I like to keep it as simple as possible and only write down where the indicators are and what their doing. The H1, H2, and Daily really are all that is needed with regards to your plan.

If you're still learning and find it helpful to include the H4 on your plan then you should continue to do so!

Rating:-40 SL Hit. With Fibo down on all time flames and green divergence at the top of the daily candle I suppose the consolidation is still in progress, running the swing down until purple daily. The green divergence once fixed causes a retrace then but I neglect it, it was a clear error entering long

News: JPY elections through the night

Entry: Short on open below Psar with W/P cross + 60 to Romar support.

Rules: 3-4 bars been out of balance on Daily. White crossed Purple on H2 and H4 putting us in consolidation to trade both ways.



Evaluation: took 40 from the market. Trade took a little while longer than expected but + 40 a day is exactly what we need no more no less. Trade was against the trend and really did fancy the top DB but thought it would be a gamble as I would have like to have seen the top BB hit, (went to bed…….) it didn’t so I waited patiently for the indicators for the next best “certain” against the trend entry.

Entry : I missed the short from the top of the FIBO so I went long at H2 ROMAR support with closed candle below ROMAR and hit off lower BB and 61.8 FIBO. DB/SAR at the bottom with divergence. And Market at Daily white support.

OK Trader - let me go through a couple of things with you. For some reason you are reading the Parabolic flip wrong. Both EMA and the Parabolic was in a slider at the time of your entry for an entry back into an uptrend on the H2. Now let me explain why you got your 40 profit:

The H2, the H4, and the Daily had confluence on all three charts with DB/SAR and both divergences with all 3 charts when the top was hit. AT the time of your entry you had the 4 horsemen on 3 charts with EMA up. With the Daily imbalance does not mean it will balance on the next candle but can take days to balance. The problem is you did not recognize all three chart in confluence for the short on your final notes; but did recognize the confluence on all 3 charts with your plan.. All it would had taken was one chart being out of confluence with one another and the slider would had kept the uptrend.

Final thoughts - you was not focus on the whole as a complete scenario (all 3 trading charts). But was focus on the Daily imbalance. And having this kind of focus can very well take you into the wrong trade.

So you know - I was in the same trade but only because of confluence on top of the 3 charts with DB, SAR, and both divergence..
