I forgot to reverse my top 4 baskets before LO and they all hit SL even with the VB. Today proves once again that reversing on a Monday works.

And perhaps the time between NY open to LC are perfect time to close the reserved baskets. I just open my weekly and immediately jumps to profit

Based on the above results if I had reversed the baskets they would have most probably hit TP before NYO.

My weekly basket is bouncing back after being -600 pips in DD in the VB, its now sitting on around -200.

Below is update for week 11 week of my top 4 FIFO daily baskets. Previous weeks results here: https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=10366077#post10366077

It was slow week for the baskets or at least it felt that way lol. Most of the TO basket didn't fire this week so not much differences in results for TO baskets. TO had a bit more action but that goes both ways as some TP's and SL's were hit. Next week will be week 12 and the final week of testing for these baskets. I think after 12 weeks we can make a conclusive decision of which baskets are worth keeping and what should be cut.

Below you will see the baskets labeled from 1-4 with the total number of TP's and SL's hit for each session, as well as overall average total daily DD per basket.

Please note that I use a VB for all these baskets and some days for some sessions they might not trigger, that's why the numbers are so low over a 11 week period. Having the VB has definitely saved me from some big losses! Also baskets are only traded from Tuesday to Friday only, no trade on Mondays.

Some additional info about these baskets:

Basket 1-3 have a TP = 50 pips, and Sl = 100 pips, VB trigger = 15 pips.
Basket 4 has a TP = 100 pips, and SL = 200 pips, VB trigger = 15 pips.

Basket 1 LO: TP X 22 - SL X 12 - DD -12

Basket 2 TO: TP X 12 - SL X 8 - DD -15

lol ... that's retirement for you ... still trading FIFO with mixed results but like you that strategy has a 50 pip a day focus so all good.
Current project is to trade within certain time frames only. Am using EAX and FxM Diff to try to be full auto, FXM has just added a feature I needed to his Diff indi so will continue testing with that and if it works as I hope will publish results.
Below is the latest day's result so will pursue the idea.
One issue I do have is seeing the signals of the FXM-Diff3 indi when a chart is reloaded, they do not appear and the indi has to be manually opened/closed to refresh the signals and see them - I seem to recall you also had that or a similar issue - can you confirm and if you fixed it ... how so ... other than to open/close the indi to see the signals.
I see your basket results - interesting - you sure have put in the effort and are better at keeping track of results than me. Made any decision re TO LO as yet?
And what time GMT you starting now?

Friday Sydney/Tokyo appears to have started the day off OK testing the time frame strategy, will post more updates as they progress.

Ahhhh retirement I'm getting there but still some time to go lol. At least I can say I don't have a job or boss to report you and that makes life a lot more pleasant.

About the FXM indicator having display issues, I can't remember honestly. I don't seem to have any issues with it except for it freezing my platform momentarily which it refreshes during its calculation period, but I'm used to that already.

Yes today is the last day of the 12 weeks test, and I'll be adding up all the data and totaling everything up. Interestingly this week TO was pretty good and LO took a knock which is going to give some interesting results once again as things are very close. Something I need to work on is the R:R ratio as having a 100 pip SL for a 50 pip TP is not a good R:R but I've monitored how the baskets can swing before going to TP. The problem I have is how it affects the end results. 1 SL being hit can wipe out 2 days of baskets hitting TP, and then after 3 days I'm back to 0. So besides finding out whether TO or LO is better, finding a better solution to the 50 pips TP and 100 pips SL is something I need to work on.

I'm interested in your new approach and will look forward to seeing the results when you publish.

We have finally come to the end of my 12 week test of my top 4 FIFO baskets. This week was interesting, but again many baskets did not fire this week from the VB, which I take as a good thing. Please note that there were many weeks of previous testing to get to the top 4 so in total there are many more weeks but for the purpose of this 12 week test there were 4 main contenders.

It's been an interesting journey trying to figure out whether TO or LO was better, and which setting was more consistent overall. I've collected, analyzed, and added up all the data, and by looking at the total data I was able to decide about TO and LO, and which 2 baskets I'll be keeping for trading live and which I'll be removing.

Below you will see the total results for 12 weeks of testing. The baskets labeled from 1-4 with the total number of TP's and SL's hit for each session, as well as overall average total daily DD per basket.

Please note that I use a VB for all these baskets and son ome days for some sessions they might not trigger, that's why the numbers are so low over a 12 week period. Basket 3 TO: TP X 10 - SL X 9 - DD -12

Basket 4 TO: TP X 12 - SL X 3 - DD -24
Basket 4 LO: TP X 16 - SL X 7 - DD -21

As you can see there is a clear difference between TO and LO, with LO having more overall success, so for this reason I will no longer trade these baskets at TO, and I'll be sticking to trading LO only. I've also decided to remove basket 3 & 4 as overall their performance didn't match 1 & 2. So this brings to the end my 12 week trial, its been long and testing, but overall a clear cut successful result. Below you will see the top 2 baskets that "won" the test, feel free to test them yourself. Happy trading and green pips to you all!

You probably already know all this but will say it anyway and keep it brief, if your experiences are similar to my past experiences you use xmess7's EA you can miss out a lot using the inbuilt profit lock if that is what you use. I believe the Virtual Basket has it's benefits (that is a personal choice ... some may say it is lazy or a poor choice but if it works and you are comfortable with it, that to me is all that matters) ... so to use that with xmess7's EA and then manage the opened trades via a dashboard like EAX to me made sense so that is what I do, for me it allows greater flexibility and much more accurate pair, profit and overall basket management.

I don't use any profit lock with my baskets, haven't got my head around that yet lol. I would be interested in a trailing stop, as I use that in my live manual trading. So I set a TP, SL and use a 15 pip VB for a trigger. The VB has worked well for me personally as some baskets that opened went straight to loss and if there was no VB they would have hit SL hard, but cos of the VB it didn't trigger saving me form losses. Of course sometimes it doesn't work and it will trigger and then reverse but it does minimize potential losses.

I'm interested with your results using the EAX, I took a look at that a while ago and got lost so I gave up.. haha

I am sure there are lots of people here on FF that have better results for the week than this but for me this is better than expected.
Full Auto ... Monday - Friday, will see where it leads in the future and if it it continues will post results and share, no sense doing it now too early.

Like many threads here on FF they start off with some "action" and then end up at a snail's pace.
In Post 1, a commitment was made and for those who can't remember or never read it this is what was said:

Goal:
To find the Top 3 Auto strategies for each News, Market Open and Daily Trading.
The finalists will be chosen based on their 1) Trade Explorer Information and 2) Thread contributions.

Finals:
The finals competitors will be chosen after trading with a new Standard Demo account with a broker of their choosing, Investment $500, 1:500 Leverage and will be evaluated at the end of the Finals Month (Month To Be Decided). The decision of the final winner is final however it may be determined that there is a winner in each category, if so the final winner of each category will receive the Final Winner as below.

Final Winner:
The final winner will then be invited to manage a Live Account where they will benefit from a share of the profits. There will be an investment amount of $500 available for trading and as soon as the account reaches $1000, the $500 will be withdrawn and the account will continue until such time that either the winner does not want to continue or the thread contributors by majority of 75% vote to close the account and split the profits on the following basis: 50% - winner / 50% even distributed between the thread contributors, then the account will be closed.
Yes, I will repeat it ... 50% split divided between all other qualifying thread contributors with their share paid directly into their own live trading account or via P@yP@1 to their email address - no other method is available.

Now it would appear that there are only a few contributors left but the commitment still stands. So if you want to enter, now is the time to act, if no-one does then this will just become a deceased snail.

So it doesn't drag on forever ... the demo account as specified above should be active asap because everything slows down come mid December and you will need a month to have it running. For those who have contributed and choose to act - good luck - for those that are unable or don't want to ... then have a great end of year party yourselves.

Hi PIF just leave this thread dormant. NO need to close it. On Market open and daily strategies someone here can still come up with good news for Ccfp or Strength.
I do not like much Xm7 ea ...he does its job ok , but I do prefer the TTM visual basket... this is definitely NOT a set and forget strategy and suggested pairs have to be filtered someway previously , I still have to found the right Indi´s to do the job. I am using TDI and HGI now , comparing TF FF TT settings on D1 CCfp/Strength. I know you are testing with Aseme Dashboard .... you will come up with some news soon that we will share here...if you do not mind.

About your 500$ offer..I would gladly double-up your offer to find the guy who can take care of all stress involved here ..lol.

haha ... by stress here you mean those people who do not contribute and expect "the world" and then send abusive messages when they say they have copied you and have a loss ... or do you mean getting a consistent positive strategy, cause if it is the latter then that is available already, just not solely CCFp ...
