Hello everyone

Here is a trade i took on the USDCAD from yesterday into today.
I wasn't able to take pictures of the full analysis as usual unfortunately.
Suffice to say that the daily and weekly charts are in supply

Hi Akt,
A couple of questions, if that's ok?

1) Do you consider gaps as potential RBR or DBD zones (depending on where they appear in the price action)?
2) Do you think that your experience with watching the price action near the zones gives you an edge in deciding if it's time to enter / exit? I mean as something over and above the basic methodology.

Dear Akt,
Why did you take this short? On weekly descending TL is broken. On daily ascending TL is broken but no any SZ neither on D TF nor H4 or H1 has been removed.

Start from the daily not the weekly
As you rightly observed, upside momentum has ended on the daily - the only thing that causes that within the methodology is supply coming in.
For this trade, price was in daily supply. Momentum ended on the 3hr chart that was used and the short was taken.
Even on the weekly, yes the weekly downside had ended but the nearest demand to this short on the weekly was far enough away to allow the short

USD / Chinese yuan sell possibility. Middle of the curve, momentum down. Only DBD though, but with strong move down

EUR GBP long possibility on hourly. Momentum is still up. Overextended move around middle of the daily curve.

Bund trade from gap fill looks fine. Momentum up, but already high on the curve.

Hi Michael, I've also got a quick question regarding your USD/CAD short. I understand that you used the 3HR as your entry point but was a daily D.Z. used as an exit point? Or was the exit also planned somewhere around a 3HR D.Z.?

I used one of the exit strategies within the methodology called fixed exits. Simply put it is a set reward to risk ratio that is within the trader's own trading plan and is available based on the price action on the chart. No profit margin no trade. In this case, there were DBR demand zones down at the exit area which was an added incentive to exit
