Do you consider the wicks also in your calculations?
Example - The 1st bar does have a wick and the 2nd bar needs to close above/below the wick and then you place your order 2 pips away from the close of Bar 2

10 pips trailing? that will take you out way too soon, see the chart

I will do that, bit I will also give some extra options to the EA, to make it more flexible, and better opprtunity to optimise it.

Beertjie sorry for late reply the strategy has nothing to do with timezone. Start watching for entry from Sunday when market open. EU gave me a nice profit this week

Diferrent timeoffset of the broker give different H4 candle. The strategy is based on H4 candle Low High, so it will give different result.

It can only be an issue if your chosen broker do not open ( early) when market opens. Use broker that open at 9:00 pm gmt on Sunday.

Great news guys. I added a lot of options, and seems it is working with fixed lot. If it is not working without martingale(wich I not prefer), or Increasing lot, it is worthless.But for better result I think the Increased lot is essential. I solved the offsetproblem too. It will run on H1 and "generate" the H4 candle from it. The EA will have MoneyManagement, which is important too. TrailingStop is great idea, I coded it. I need to code the candle based exit next week and I will make an Optimalisation for EURUSD to see what is going on.
Please be patient, I am not a skillful coder, so I need time for it. If it is ready to share, I will post it.

Hi everybody. The EA is ready.

Cocolizo67 saw it well, something happening on Monday. No news and the market work technicaly. I dont see any coherence between trending and side market, so we dont need to go in this direction. Please tell me who have enough resources to make backtest for more years, and in this case we will not make the same job simultan. It could bee intresting to backtest different pairs and compare it in exel to see max drawdown if we run it simultan, to maximise safe risk. I do not recognize myself in exel, but it is important I think.

Important: Run on H1. It is based on H4 bur the ranges of the Candle 1 and Candle 2 are generated from the H1 candles.

And the settings:

MAGIC: Magic number what else

HourStart:How many hours after GMT 00:00 the Candle1 is starting.Red Box is Candle1, Blue box is Candle2.

UseGMT_AsStart: If True, the Candle1 is not 4 candle, its long as the GMT to the HourStart.

UseOnlyOneC2: If True, if one Candle2 is formed and trade is not triggered, dont let another Candle2 forming on the opposite side. The idea was if the market is in sideways, dont let trade. After the backtest I see, it is worthless...

LotsType: Fixed lot must make profit, unless the system is worthless. The increasing lot help to get better profit, martingale produce often bigger drawdown. Keep in mind if you optimise the EA, bigger profit it goes together with bigger Drawdawn. Best setting is always consistent profit, with low DD.

M_Factor: Martingale multiplier.

UseMM: If true, the start lot is calculated from the free margin. In this case LOT is ignored.

Risk: If MM is True, the Risk is the percent of the FreeMargin.

Lot: Satart lot if MM is false.

Pip_Add: The distance between the Candle2 and the entry level. 30 means 3pips.

ExytType: Exit based on ATR or Cocolizo67 idea, 2 Bull/Bear Candle if position is in profit.
Yellow boxes display the H4 candles.

Breakeven: If True, Close in BE.

BE_After: BE if position reached the percent of the risk.

UseTrailingStop: If true, Use it.

TrailingStop: Trailing stop value. 400 means 40pips

TrailingStep: After Market Moved these pips Move the stop.


A good EA need to work with different setting. Its mean for example is not important if trailingstop is 350 or 400, must do profit.

The Best Hourstart settins are 4 or 6 i think.
UseGMT_AsStart, false or true, mak profit too.
ATR Multiplier (Target), need to be higher or same as the stop, to get right RR. Use With BE, can reduce losses and make good profit.
TrailingStop, is best between 30-50, we are on H4,H1.

The settings are my setting for EURUSD:

first of all thanks for your efforts.
Now, I did set up your EA yesterday ..." and forgot"
But then I remembered today again and became curious.... but nothing had happened. I mean, the first candle was in a red square but there was no trade triggered even though the following candles had gone way out of the box and it would have been a quite successful trade....
Did I do something wrong or is that the bug I am supposed to feed(back).

I did not make any forwardtest, but is Autotrading enabled? is Live Trade Enabled when you attach to the chart?
