I don't really know, I'd just try to restart MT4 afterwards and/or copying the HST file into the correct folder inside of MT4.
I think I have finally solved the problem with my Windows program. The program will take any CSV from any data source and create an HST file for MetaTrader4. I still need to work on the user interface. It's not as convenient to use as the script. You'll need to download a CSV file from a data source, Pull the CSV into the program, specify columns ... at which point the program generates the HST.

Anyone reading this thread is welcome to a copy when it's ready. Just send me a message with your email. It may take a few weeks before its ready.
