crazy how different charts can look using volume bars. yours looked a lot more tradable than mine, almost as if it were a larger chart

I use the 5-minute chart for my main chart and I pick my support and resistance levels from it.. and then I use the 333 tick chart to enter my limit trades.. I'm always looking for the trend but I will take a counter Trend trade if I feel the market is not very strong.. or I will play the top and bottom of a range if there's enough space to get profit. And if it is a nice 123 off of support and resistance I will play that too.. I really don't use the ma's they are on my chart because I'm so used to having them on there..

is there any logic behind using tick charts rather than volume charts?

volume bars based on contracts traded so if you put on 212 contracts and I put on 300 that's 512 contracts and we get a new candle tick charts are each trade so 512 trades must be put before new candle for me the tick chart slows things down for me nothing more than that
