Plan the Trade

just got back from store let me open charts and post

So using the principles learned here had I had the courage to place an order at the bottom blue line I would have gotten a whole bunch in 6E (on SIM). I missed it waiting for the pullback, which doesn't happen so much on 6E like NQ. If you don't want me posting non NQ charts, please tell me.

I don't want to go into DD so I keep on not trading. I just have to close my eyes and then trade and take some losses if they come. And then I can see if my money management strategy is correct.

Anyway, I'm still trying to decide when to go counter trend with market profile, if ever? Because, contrary to what I thought before, there were some excellent pullback to level or SD area trades with the trend.

It appears to me that whatever you do as long as you are consistent and let your winners run...

I was long waiting for the pb to 98.25 and checking this forum and didn't get filled I was going to cancel but got filled so I gut out at +5 because it wasn't the first pb on sim.

500 dolar day trade margin for nq so for 3 lots 1500 dollars??? when will it be a margin call??

yeah but if you're only trading a lot or 2 what does it matter?

the way I understand is though margin is 500 if you put on bracket order which includes stop and target theres really 1500 that needs to be in acct. if you trade with just entry and stop 1000 if you don't have stop or target its 500

I trade with AMP and a bracket order for one contract uses $500 in margin

I could be wrong but that's what I was told
