IC Markets experienced traders, do you suggest this company?

Leverage is still huge IMO. 1:100 on EUR pairs.

I have had accounts with Pepperstone and ICmarkets (local so no overseas transaction fees all free deposits/withdrawals fast within seconds/days respectively).

When I compared the two the only reason why I stuck with ICmarkets is they have better options for REBATES. Effectively this is lowering my commission to $4.90 AUD RTL as opposed to Pepperstone that I could only get down to $5.50 RTL.

Both of them will have moments where there servers are down, however they say they will refund any losses (both have done so for me anytime I asked, but you have to ask first and these were only for small amounts $10-$50).

Only downside I see here is that they are small companies and therefore aren't really brokers you would use for capital >$100,000.

I have a public Trade Explorer currently public for IC markets if you want to see an account on it.

it is enough to decide for platform and excequte....no problem , stable. firts time ever I see that even stop level is 0.05nearby it does not stop in case of turn...a lot f others I know stops surely.

not withdrawall yet...will not do for a long time if there is no urgent need.

I did not read the part where you actually told us whose fault it is that market is down. I mean, why is it that when the market is volatile and traders are looking to cash in profit, the broker's platform freezes? This question has bothered me and I never get a clear answer. There is a difference between "platform froze and "platform down". (sorry for my English"

Well, I was looking for a true ecn broker then I stumbled in this article and found ic markets. Looks convincing.

Just getting used to the platform at the moment, getting ready to switch properly come August.

Read comment from the 'monkey guy' spacca and The-Flipper. The Brokers tab on Forex Factory where they compare a lot of issues is not a good place to look for a honest broker!

Im with IC for several years. Deposited and withdrew lots of money, never had a problem. Only thing that irritates me now a bit is Paypal got exed...very enoying. I don't like using Credit cards...other then that its best broker I have been with.

Paypal banned companies who deal in forex and crypto from using their merchant services.

for me thats a very good thing.
