I reached 2000€ with just €50. It took me 3 weeks but then i gave up at that point because was too much money to place on a single trade (at least for me) and also the fear kicks in. Nevertheless, it's a great way to grow a small capital to a comfortable size to trade. Pure timing is all needed.

congratulations. This is certainly an achievement already! And i guess fear kicks in at some point. Anyway, Bravo !

Josker i like your attitude. I think what the other people mean is they cant do it, for them it is impossible. Alot of things is impoissible to someone does it..... like sportsrecord or landing at the moon or an actor become president. It is up to the person how hard will you try on it. Maybe it is not working right now maybe it will with a twist to it and so on. Life is fulll of people that love to tell you that things are hard and even impossible, some of them are affraid that you will success where thye failed.... and thye happily try to drag...

Exactly, and thanks for the encouragements. I'll try it anyway, even if many think it's a path to failure.

As long as you know that statistically the odds are extremely low, there is no harm in trying it. I actually hope you succeed.

Maybe you're trying to enter a lot size bigger than what is possible according to your account and leverage size. Tell us about your lot size and the platform you're using (mt4 or ctrader).

Still with a leverage of 1:500 my broker(pepperstone) won't let me risk half of my account (mt4) .e.g with account of 100 dollars i should be able to use 0.62 cent per pip for a Tp of 80 pips and a SL of 40 pips.
if am right with this calculations then i should be able to use it but can't, i don't know what's happening, i need help. please

Your max lot size is about 0.5. Depends on currency pair.

If you are risking $0.62 per pips, that means aproximately, 0.06 lots, that would be perfectly open with a 1:500 leverage because it requires $2.00 per microlot of margin. But if you are trying to open a volume of 0.62 that means US$6.20 per pip.

Hope you understand me,

oggalan

okay please help me. please how do i differentiate the opening for volume and opening the other one because i don't understand. when i put in 0.20 cents my 80 pips
Tp gives me 16 dollars but they won't let put in 0.62 cents ( which should give me 49-50 dollars profit with 80 pips Tp) with the same balance of 100 dollars account. please i need to understand were am getting it wrong. Thanks
