H, i just want to add my thanks for your video.
I find myself basically nodding my head and agreeing with you as you are making the video. There is just the one thing that you can not teach me and that is the level of calmness and tranquility that is obviously present whilst you trade.
Your trading is the closest i've seen to trading without emotion.
Now, i am certain that i can achieve this, or at least close to it, in time, but i need a few things to line up first.
I know you could not understand at the start of Summer, as to why i wasn't trading 'live', but personal circumstances have basically meant that i simply wasn't able to face the psychological torment, that is the market and i have needed a little time out, for myself...
Right now, i am making the most of the last of Summer and it has meant that i am merely 'ticking over' with regards to keeping my hand in. I am recharging my batteries!
When the weather changes, the real work will begin.... (not so much analysis, more tackling fear of risk taking etc)
As for the actual analysis side of things, how many times have i posted earlier in this thread, the simple C&H set-up?
It is born out of EW theory saying waves will be in sets of 5 when with underlying trend. The idea being that a wave 1 or (i) will make a fresh high, by something minimal. thus the handle is the pullback to be bought at the top of the pinbar body (as per usual);
First, the EW labeling;
(just for illustrative purpose) and now the C&H;
Your crosshair was also at a pullback level. This is why i have stuck with the Nasdaq, once i realised how it reacts at prior S/D levels, something that i have not seen so accurate on any other instrument!
The Ross Hook is something i have as yet struggled to incorporate and the shorting the following candle off of the VL level was also awesome. I think i would probably be waiting for a 123 to set up, or some other pattern to play out giving a pullback level first, so something again for me to consider, but to be honest, i have been trading later and it is different, so that again needs to be taken into consideration.
I think i can speak for everyone else here and say again, big thanks, because if ever, anyone loses the faith as to what can be achieved, you demonstrate it so clearly, but it really is that level of calmness and fluidity that is needed to succeed.
