Yes that could have been a successful entry. When buying we want higher lows, when selling we want lower highs.

I use pending orders to ensure I get the price I want. This allows me to set my risk/reward ahead of time and have my targets and stops in place.

hello, i'm demo trading this system, focusing on H1 charts and just trading the large (#3) semafor. i'm just a bit loss since i'm new to forex. can someone please tell me what those lines in the indicator stands for? like MR3, DR2, DR4. RDH (range day high?)...

i hope someone still follows this thread.

Thanks for your great system, that can inspire me .... I make system just replace 3 Level ZZ Semafore with CO_NL_EXTREMUMS_UPandDown ... CO_NL_EXTRENUMS_UPandDown_alert_email - LEVEL 2 acting as the End of the trend .... every level 2 has appeared then we OP in the direction of Level 2 ... oposite close OP

I like using semafor indicator for trading ,but the problem is that they repaint,so we may go wrong because these are reversal zones,let me try this strategy.Thanks for positng

Semafor is ZZ so yes it repaints ... but that doesn't mean it is bad. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. You just have to find the way about how to use the information it gives.

To my understanding if an indicator repaints, it's due to poor coding.

Semafor/ZZ doesn't really "repaint", more like it recalculates on new data.

The ZZ circle is painted based on candle reversals. If a new engulfing candle is generated then that will cause the info to recalculate, painted on a newer position.
