a final time, the IB wont give the discount, but signing up via the IB the broker automatically will reduce your commission from 7$ to 5.5$ ( usual deal with IBs)

have you try to trade your account actually?
there is always, always another trade!!

by default with IC you pay 5.5$ / lot commission without having the account linked to an IB, then you create an account with a rebate website like paybackfx and there there is a procedure to say to the broker who's your IB, in this case paybackfx .. by doing so you'll get an 1.5$ / lot paid by the rebate website ...

should your account have been already assigned to an IB, it means that your trading account is linked and not the full broker account ... you open another mt4 (or ..) account on your broker and use it for the above process.

the commission is $7 and they are all offering $5.50? where are you getting $5.50 for standard IC markets from? and then another $1.5, so total paid would be $3... id be closing and reopening my account if you can show me $3 per lot...

I was a little bit wrong.

5.5 is for an account in eur base currency, 7$ is for usd.
BUT
you can get the 1.5$/lot from paybackfx dot com or other similar website that you can choose as your IB.

In fact you can become an IB to IC if you have 5 clients and you will receive 2$/lot. Rebates websites give you 1.5$ / lot and they keep the 0.5$.

Some websites have a min amount before transfer, payback has 100$ ... they also give you 10$ for each account you refer them as IB to the broker ...

ahh too much publicity to those guys, ...

Wait so if I trade 5 'friends money' I can get massive discount of 2$ per lot rather than 7?

i wish. there are a lot of option for non-US traders , low spreads, rebates,

what do we get? oanda, forex.com, and tdameritrade. 3 fucking forex brokers in the whole god damn country...

wow that sucks, how do they stop you from making an account elsewhere?

sexy new spreads on everything... and if i can make 5 new accounts for 'friends' money then bam $7 commission down to $2... even if it was $4 id be happy

hmm, 5.5 is the lowest to pay on usd account, 4.3 on eur ... I just made the request via chat on one account, I asked to use IB 1900 (icmarketsforexrebates.com) and the discount is directly applied.

with the 2$ is different

By default the commission is 7$
You become IB to the broker (min 5 friends are needed to become IB)
Then you receive 2$ / lot from your friends trades / they don't know, they pay 7$
You can link your account to your IB too and you'll pay 7$-2$ = 5$ commission

not so much big deal in the end, got messed up with the account base currency (on eur account is 5.5eur and after IB link it is 4.3eur commission / lot)
should your friends trade high volume, you can invite them for some bears ... paid by them without knowing, haha

um, wrong again.
if you are an IB, you will get income from your referrals, but that wont change your own commission rate from 5.50$...

as for that full 2$ as IB...true. but if you want to keep full 2 dollar, better you find noobs to sign, as all others will look IBs with 5.50$ discounted commission offers!

and finally, ICMarkets ( or other Australian brokers) has this IB deal as an INSTANT commission rebate, so, there is no minimum, monthly, or otherwise.

disclaimer: i do have IB account as well at IC, but only 2 friends there as "clients" where i make the rebate for the generous chance to copy my trades to them for free.
else i dont use, or promote that.
there is always, always another trade!!
