well my main strategy is taking 10 pips, i scalp for a couple of pips a few times a day. a couple of years is more than enough time to make enough money to leave this forum, whether i do or not remains to be seen.

thanks for your input though, but i bet i last more than 2 years, ive done 2.5 already just learning and swinging mainly

sorry i had to laugh at this... if i was close to retirement at my age then i would not be on the forum purely because id have to be a multi millionaire.

i am only 21 so

and i have made money, gone through a few big losses accounts wise blown 2 £3k accounts, highest account balance £72k, i was selling UJ around 123-124 and rode it quite well. now that account is at 43k and i havent traded on it much for about 6-12 months now, until i develop a proper strategy im not interested in trading on it

so you always go for 10 pips for every trade? or 10 pips net per pair/day?

i think you should just scalp between levels from the profiles. peak to peak

10 pips per trade and thats it.

ill have 2pip trades here and there that are pretty random really, of no strategy as such, just a tiny profit booster

also if anyone knows any discount IB's for IC markets that could post here that would be great, i thought i signed up for one but i didn't.

i tried the ICmarketsforexrebates.com but they arent sending me the email, ive tried 2 times now and not working

and yeah well AU took my SL by 3 pips... not been a good day... and then my revenge trade took my SL by less than a pip, oops...

in all of that AU trade... everything went up 20 pips minimum against dollar... AU went up 10.5...

i dont think there is rebate email.
it is an instant rebate, in your spread reduced from broker. ( not a send you money in the end of month type)
there is always, always another trade!!

im already linked to another IB and now they wont let me change to a new one unless i transfer everything over to another account, which means using a different email...

but i signed up with the IB im with because they were offering commission discount
