Evaluation :
It lasted longer than i though but TP was hit. Probably no volatility or action in late hours. As was new daily opened i looked at H2 .. and i was good. I knew TP will be hit. I can say that i entered little bit earlier and i should have waited and used that confluence - next candle after SAR was attached hit smooth - h2 and EMA - h1. I usually do that in uptrend but not in this case. I did not want to miss this trade and pullback was pretty short - SAR was attached near the smooth, it did not reach EMA nor PSAR so that si way i knew trend is still pretty strong an after that SAR candle was closed above Purple a immediately jump in knowing 40 SL should be enough to keep me in this trade.

Final Notes: Market in uptrend. Daily up, H4 up, H2 up, H1 White and Purple sliding. H2 SAR is attached on top, separate from the DB, but the trend is still up on Daily, H4, and H2 4 horsemen. Like Shaun says, just keep attacking the trend up. At the moment there isn’t enough pips to go to the top of the Fibo and I’m not risking it.

Entry: SAR attachment on bottom at the Parabolic support and confluence with 23.6 and H4 open at Smooth support with 4 horsemen strong in trend, this is where I took my entry long.

Rules:

SAR on bottom so in the uptrend next attachment is on top
Smooth has not crossed Purple, we are in consolidation after White/Purple cross, so hits off Parabolic support (the bottom) back into the uptrend.

Evaluation: A well timed trade, although partly luck in that I was checking the charts since I don’t often check them in the morning. I definitely wasn’t going to trade during Tokyo yesterday because we were right at the top of the Fibo, but with this trade there was well beyond 40 pips to the top. Also, remember how Dana said 23.6 and 61.8 play crucial roles depending on the trend, and that SAR may attach at 23.6 for re-entry? Well this was one example. With confluence of H2 SAR, Parabolic, 23.6 and H4 Smooth I confidently took this entry.

I’m finding that the more time I spend with the Paradox, the more I understand things that Dana said earlier in the thread, like “Don’t worry about what could happen, but what will happen”, and “let the market come to you”. It’s one thing to come across while reading it and think about it in theory, and another to actually apply it and see it work out.

At the moment, the most difficult part for me is projecting my entry based on what is happening in the moment, because when I do make a projection long/short, and I ends up not happening, I miss a trade. This is likely the most important aspect for me to master, although it will definitely take more time before I’m proficient.

Anyway, TP hit just barely due to my entry being 5 pips above the open candle price, so I’ll have to keep in mind to arrive 5 minute before the close and then look at my plan until the new candle opens, not after it opens.

Well Nicki -- when you apply the rules for entry; with confluence - you always become the winner. Your focus is becoming and what you see in the moment is being generated within your own heart. Pedro -- the rule is one trading plan per 24 hour. Starting time is 17:00 ET, New York time. So this plan is not legitimate and be glad it is not. I have no idea where this "SuperMario and his band" had come from because the market had not changed and is still up. I suggest very strongly in not creating something that is not there.
