Harold when you sold the extreme (the first time) did you enter with a limit order as the price was approaching the extreme or did you wait for confirmation? (waiting for price to start moving downwards)?

its always limit orders unless I trade a hook trade then its a stop order entry

So you must be pretty sure to place an order and just wait for price to reverse at your level ehh?

the only time I will remove the limit order is if it just missed getting filled otherwise I leave it on

with the hook is it just the 3 candles after top/bottom candle that are legit, e.g.
