I also work with Moving Averages and RSI on the H4 charts. without getting to much into detail, I only enter buying if the RSI is mínimum at 55 and selling if it is less than 45.. like that I can filter several false signals.
I recommend strongly to do backtesting on a parety that you chose in a fix period and do at least 40 to 50 operations, being very honest writing down the results to see if your strategy really works.
I have a book full of backtesting trying to get my system more perfect, it gives me psycologically so much trust when I trade, when I get stressed I only have to dig in my book to reconfirm to my head that my system works and that I only have to patient and apply it.
Without backtesting I would have failed.
